Wouldn't be at all surprised if the winger we're after is Chris Eagles. I've always rated him quite highly and he apparently looked brilliant for Bury before falling out with the management and being frozen out after questioning the fitness training, which he felt led to him picking up a few injuries.

Would he be willing to come down South again at this stage in his career? Didn't work out previously for him with Charlton. All his other clubs been fairly close to each other up north.

Germane McGlashan maybe as the winger? Be surprised if we are after Demetriou, he is a right back and we have two already.

Demetriou is a decent winger.

He also played midfield in his younger days and takes a decent free kick.

Edinburgh is delighted with Gills 2 latest signings. Knott signed a 2 year deal and Justin said he was first to make contact with the quality 23 year old " Knott is a creative goalscoring midfielder and deadball specialist and is a bright talent" Also signed Newports player of the year and winner of 7 awards

We will certainly end up with the players none of the bigger clubs above us want, thats how football works.

Doesn't seem to be what PB likes to do, there are some gems out there and some risks. I would rather we were trying to get someone from the conference who has done well than Jamar Loza. Dan Holman who was at Col U released and banged them in for Cheltenham, he would be worth a punt. Even better that if he did well and earnt us a decent wedge would be a swift two fingers up to the scum up the A12.

Are they? They (the clubs) are signing players .............. whether the players are those that we would want in our team is another matter I would suggest. It is only 1 player but Deegan going to Shrewsbury would suggest that at least some of the signings are not players we would consider.

Too precious - I'd think he would struggle with the slope down to the outer circuit ............ yes, I know - you would think someone that plays football for a living would be able to kick a ball from a corner no matter what the circumstances. I've never heard of a plumber saying "I can't put an outside tap in there madam because there is a slope and I only work on flat surfaces ......"
