Im not sure how that can be construed as worse than having one party interested.

Well no but after 25 years having to put up with ron, it would be nice to have change from bloudy property developers/chancers who got no interest in football side of things.

The judge can, at any hearing, grant HMRC's petition. A final warning is not a pre-requisite.

I honestly feel Kimura shot themselves in the foot by mentioning a documentary. Ron doesn't say sorry and the is no chance he would want a documentary essentially about what a doorknob he has been. When the documentary was mentioned, suddenly you heard something from the club.

I didn't realise you knew the potential bidders so well and can be sure of their motivation and character seeing as you are referring to an estate agent that is either worth tens of millions in one case, or over a billion in the other, depending which one it is.

I'm a bit of a chancer in real life, and I'll never reach that level of wealth.

You seem connected though, so I'll bow to your obvious insider knowledge.

I think the club will be sold eventually and we'll be alright.

I'm not sure why me being optimistic about it is of such concern, but then, you are equally entitled to your opinions.

So no company has ever been wound up unless the judge has given a final warning? Seems a little pointless in going to court as defendant won't take seriously until the judge issues a final warning.
I recall Anna Firth stating on one of the zoom calls she was surprised with her experience we got a final warning last time. I took that to mean we were very lucky to not be wound up at that time.
Happy to be corrected, but I think the chance of being wound up is a little higher than 0% without a final warning.
Fortunately I've not had the experience such a court case personally so happy to be seated at the back and proven to be overly concerned about the 12th. I suspect we will survive to live another day, but only because there is still a belief a sale can still be achieved.

Fair enough TJC. I acknowledge that I'm not an expert in insolvency.

I'm basing it in the same judge who heard our cases earlier in the year, before we were publicly up for sale, and the more recent our visits and decided not to wind us up.

So we are in the mess we are in because he once was an estate agent and therefore all Estate agents should be avoided.

I know not reply to me but I do agree we will most likely be sold and survive upcoming dates.
I just think we have differing opinions of the gravity of the court hearing and the chances of us competing in the league deminishes with every day that passes.
We clearly want the same thing. A competitive club we can enjoy, so fingers crossed this is all sorted asap.

My worry is that Ron tries to drive the price up by playing in competition, Kimura say screw you and pull out and the other party isn't as interested and then walks away leaving us high and dry.

The tactic may make Ron some extra cash but has the potential to bring the winding up more into play.
