Whilst I fully agree all I want is a club to support next year.. my concern is again the court case on the 12th. If Ron is ****ing potential buyers around who is to say the don't all walk and we are left with him?

We need a lot of signings at this rate if we lose all out of contract players.

I'm not sure anyone can take a season battling at the wrong end of the league

To answer your point. I can.

I don't support Southend because I expect them to be challenging in whatever league they are in.

I support them because my dad took me to roots Hall when I was a kid and caught the bug.

Ron has to sell.

His race is run.

We will eventually be sold and have a new custodian at the helm.

The 12th of July isn't the be all and end all.

Is this all a pain the the arse? Course ot is. But you can't keep catastrophising the 12th.

There's a lot of knowledgeable people on here. Read what they have to say.

I don't know what your trying to say but I've been going to roots hall for almost 25 years 😂

My main priority is obviously keeping the club going but you cannot sit there and tell me you are not concerned if this drags on into the start of the new season??

If we stay under embargo until the 5th of August we really are in danger

Not sure if mentioned on here but more likely to be Weston Homes maybe?
Sponsored Col u stadium for first ten years and now sponsor peterboros!
Can’t think of an estate agent likely to do that though spicer haart are headquartered in Colchester
Weston Homes are not estate agents - they are builders. It won’t be them.

I can say that.

After the last 5 years of free fall, I'm choosing to be patient.

Again, you've now mentioned August 5th.

Don't look that far ahead.

There are now 2 parties reported to be interested in the purchase of our club. All the signs show there are people who want to take over. That's good.

It's just not healthy to suggest if not sorted by 12th July it'll be a disaster. When it's explained that isn't right, it becomes the 5th of August.

Of course, if we never come out of an embargo, it'll be because the club has gone bust.

But groups are interested and its a complex deal to do.

Please KIMURA hurry up... I cannot take another second of this rat

It’s not upto them. It’s all down to Ron. We need to hope Kimura have got the stomach for this & do not walk away.

If they believed they were the only people in the running up until now (or last week), they may take this as sign that they were being played from the beginning.

It would explain why things have gone at such a slow and dwindling pace. It explains why their DD couldn’t begin when they wanted it to. It would explain why exclusivity wasn’t granted, and why it was never made public… albeit a couple of journo’s putting two and two together.

This morning there are rumours on the board about club staff having a meeting with the prospective new owners in the near future… something which may or may not be news to Kimura. If it’s true (I have no idea if it is) that could be the final straw for them.

I keep saying this though. In the grand scheme of things, does it matter?

Losing some of our players, having to put up with consolidation next season and pushing back the promotion bid by a season......frustrating, no doubt.

But as long as that cretin and his family is gone, and the sale has been done properly and not hampered by the rush so that something comes back to bite us later, does it really matter as much as you're suggesting?
Usually ignore posts using rather pathetic personal abuse but see I can't as presumably the poster is something to do with SZ. Noblesse oblige, noblesse oblige.

SpicerHaart could well be the people interested but also another big player is Fenn Wright based in Colchester and they have been around over 250 years starting out as land agents. They could well be looking to nick a slice of the housing action at the new stadium in return for buying Ron out of his predicament at Southend United. They are big players in the Essex/Suffolk area, and very well connected in terms of business all over the area.I can’t see a Southend connection there though, unless of course they are just part of a bigger buying group. https://www.fennwright.co.uk/about-us/news/250-years-and-counting/

Imo I don’t think If these estate agents were to get the club it would take any longer than it would if kimura were still buying the club. There’s been rumours of more than one party this whole time so who says they aren’t at the same stage as kimura. Now Iv thought about it etc it might not be as bad as we think just coz they are estate agents . Who says they aren’t the ones just gonna pump in the money and they’ve actually got football people part of the consortium. I think we are quick to be against them being estate agents because of what Ron has done to us. Let’s give whoever buys the club a chance.

Would still make sense that the Col
Weston Homes are not estate agents - they are builders. It won’t be them.
Wouldn't be surprised if Cowling and Weston homes are in some way involved though with the interest .Having previous with Ron and developing stadiums and housing would tie in nicely.

Interesting view and I'm open to changing my mind, but I'm interested in what you said.

Off the top of my head, other than Ron and the bloke at Bury, what other examples of people in property owning clubs not being a good thing can you name?

I'm not saying you specifically, but a lot of people without much knowledge (myself included) have been a but seduced by the shiny shiny of Kimura .

I think anyone with a successful business pedigree willing to get involved in the omnishambles of our club, deserve the chance to make an offer and if that takes time, we have to accept that.
I think you’re a bit younger than me so won’t have experienced the catastrophic effect of Bairstow Eves and it’s owners on non league clubs in Essex in the 1970’s.

Surely a regional estate agency doesn't have the amount of funds needed to persuade RM to sell?
It depends which regional estate agent you're talking about, if it's Haart, they're wealthy but would probably need investment backing, if its Jon Hunt (Foxtrons)... well, he's worth 1.3 billion, so I think he would be okay.

RM will be playing Cat and Mouse with whoever is in the frame to buy, whether it be 1 buyer or 10...It is his way. Brinkmanship and being a prize **** is part of his make up and obviously he wants the most money for himself as possible. The club as a whole will be long down his list of priorities, This is about him and what he can walk away with.

I think the next coming week or so will reveal much more as for now it is all so confusing for all fans, even those ITK are fed different stories daily, believe me on that one. I don't think there is a clear pathway yet, it is still all up in the air.

We do know Kimura are still doing DD which may yet take some time and we are told there are others interested parties....Thats about it.

An estate agents is allmost as bad as a propety man ie Ron .Would ne be strupid enough to except a deal frpm and estate agaents .You bet he would sell off roots hall property gets built on it .And what do you need to seel the houses off yes an esate agent . Tohave then in charge of our club is as bad as haveing ron .

Fcuk this ****! No one knows, what is going on. Unfortunately, one man does. A fella called Wolfy on Twitter! Who, if. I was a betting man. it's Ron, or someone close to him!!

It's going to be a tense week coming up for us Shrimpers. Honestly, don't know, how much more we can take. Just got to have faith. Even though, I just don't know, how much 'faith' I have left!

Lastly, I work within property. I find it a little disrespectful some of u lot saying, no thanks!

That Estate agent from Essex who sold Foxtons 👀 bk in 2007 is one of the weathest men in the Manor. Not bad for an Essex Agent. I admit , Foxtons is the devil within my industry. The old saying, it's better the devil you know!

I hope Kimura do pull through as I like what they have planned. However, to be fair, we don't know what the other 2 parties have in store ! We should hear what they have planned. We live in a democracy world! ......... oh wait a minute!

If it’s the bloke worth 1.2billion that might be better then Kimura who would have to leverage the funds that would come at an expense to the club at some point down the line?

Anyway Wolfy said CP was missing a bidder so could then be a further part to this equation which would match up with the 3 horse race picture he posted.

I guess this will be going up to the 12th when we are back in court and HMRC want their money. So one more month of this ****?
