Well, once Fossetts has been built, we have moved in, getting some revenue and moved up a division or 2, I hope you and all the other anti-Ron supporters on here will:

A) Realize that this was Ron's plan all along and sometimes you need to take a gamble to win

B) Clear off and support another team, cos while Ron is here, you will never be happy.

But if you take a balanced view, where were we before Ron? Any better off than we are now? Probably not.

A lot of people want Ron out but as their is no obviously better alternative whats the point in continually slating the bloke?

I firmly believe we will see many more clubs in massive financial trouble in the next few years. When that happens Southend will hopefully be on a firm financial footing and well placed to go forward.

Bottom line is we need a good solid season and every point gained is crucial to that goal.

I too agree without soares and Zaaboub we would have a much better side, I have said this from the beginning of the season.
Not bad its only 2 players that dont look like cutting it here with all the new players

How come Sturrock can put a team together in a few weeks, that can compete at a good level and Tilson had exhoribtant wage to pay merceneries that took us down. And as for Tilson being the best player and manager Southend have ever had - McCory, Barron, Garner and Peter Taylor - all internationals - how can Tilson then be compared to these, and let Kiehley Hooper go for no money...... and they never even got to play regular, but someone else could see their potential.

Simple, PS currently is still in his honeymoon period with Ronald and therefore 99% of his requests will be met.

Tilson on a snowballing scale has had to work with his hands tied firmly behind his back with players being forced upon him by the chairman and the likes of Jennings.

This is NOT a matter of opinion, it is unfortunately fact and another example of Captain Mega-lo-Maniac at work...

I have said the same about Zaaboub but i have bowed to pressure and reserved judgement till he is fully fit.

I know you hate my crap posts Hindle, but maybe you would be able to let me know which transfer embargo Tilly was working under? The window closed in January, so he couldn't sign anyone after that, and the embargo started after January, so it made no difference, he still had to work with the players that mostly had been his signings.
Something doesnt add up here.

I blatantly refuse to get drawn on the "Ron vs Tilson" debate as its history and coming from a "Tilsonite" that is hard.
