Where was the Blues Voice????

No sorry I am having too much fun winding you all up!!

Classic example of how to win friends & influence people

NOT!

Back track as much as you like it is still only you that is a wally.

We are all the blue voice, seated everywhere at RH, try taking a turn at being an adult.

Atmosphere was superb last night, best of the season. 1st half was excellent all round the ground, 2nd half the West was good. Much louder than the Donny fans anyway.

that first post of this thread is absolutley shocking. the atmos last nite was the best i have ever had the pleasure of being part of. better than millwall, leeds, every other home game this year and in my opinioun southamptom away last year. i was standing all game my mates were drumming and i didnt stop smilling !

Yup!

Southampton was emotional for myself, so many reasons, but overall very proud.

Man Utd was thrilling and I hope Sir Alex has kept his tea set as a reminder.

Doncaster was special; from where I sat with the Dash Clan and see the sea(!) of flags on both West & East was awsome. Also to have so many regulars comment before, during & now after the game is just superb, even those that attend occasionally went home with a spring in their step!

Farmer Fossett?! Who the fu*k are you? Was you even there?

Best atmosphere Ive heard in ages, 5000 flags and a brilliant performance from the lads. Great night and the blue voice was monument in making it so.

The people who have formed TBV have given up their own time for such a cause and are doing more to help the club than you are while sitting behind your keyboard. Get off their backs and start supporting them. When we move to Fossets and have a "kop-esque" area behind the goal named "TBV stand" everyone will want to be a part of it and all the people who criticised it in its initial stages wont be seen for dust.

Well done to TBV last night and all who supported it.

Sorry and what is your point??

I also have admiration for the guys that spent so much time setting up BV. It is a very good idea and I have supported them by watching several matches from that part of the ground. However as I was with family I watched the match from East stand.

My point is that especially during the Second Half when we were under alot of pressure I could not hear BV. It could be that many people who would not normally sit in this part of the ground (and have no intention of singing) sat there as these tickets are generaly the last to be sold. I agree with some posters that BV should move to North Stand next season where accoustics are better this will obviously depend on whether we get promotion etc.

I am not going to lie and applaud BV when I was expecting more vocal support from them. I gave the team my support as I aways will especially in the second half when the team needed our support the most! As for this being the best atmosphere I disagree it was OK in first half good prior to match and half time with the flags and very poor second half.

You're all *****.

But on the positive, one of the best atmosphere's i have personally witnessed at the Hall.

Why are you all arguing last night every stand was singing but as this is rootes Hall you cannot hear the other stands. Doncaster reckon it was the loudest they have ever been in the east greens we could not hear them at all. Also Im sorry but we could not hear the west stand at all one time we were singing the same song as the south stand and clapping along and the west stand were mute with no hand movements coming from that side of the ground so obviously they could not hear the song. Until we get a ground with better accoustics this is always going to be the case The only time we have ever heard the blue voice is when it was a slightly misty night when sound carried more

No they aren't!!!

Whoever is in the North Bank thinks they are the loudest stand in the ground, wheras the reality is they can barely be heard. Have you bothered to read any of the replys to this thread? Because you don't seem to have understood what people have been telling you. I can't wait to move to a stadium which has been designed to keep the sound in and bounce it around the ground.

I wasn't going to reply to this thread, but that comment sums it up nicely. There's no point arguing with some people, as no matter how many times you demonstrate that they're wrong they will stick to their opinion regardless.

I'm just going to add that I can barely talk today because of the amount of singing I did last night...and I sit just in front of TBV.

One of the best atmospheres I've experienced at RH

Ditto enjoying today with my teenager son unable to speak from singing last night and hes normally a bit nervous about making a fool of himself! the singing in the West certainly carried on all game credit to the guys moving the drum through the crowd to get them going they did get men women and children chanting and singing we did our bit as the twelf man last night and the players did there's... Bring on next Friday C'mon Blues.

I'm undecided on whether the thread's a wind up.

For me one of the best atmosphere's at the Hall by a long chalk this season. The Flag's looked fantastic and helped to generate a great feeling all round.

Heck I even managed to get through an entire 90 minutes without once having a whinge about Adam Barrett and I have witnesses to prove it :D

I heard you shouting...wait for it...."Go on the Super Adam Barrett"

Saw the game on Sky from my grim northern bolt-hole and thought the Hall looked and sounded great. Even yesterday's Independent described Southend's fans as raucous. So from this exile's point of view it's a well-done to everyone on the night and to Smiffy, Cricko and others involved in TBV for doing a great job over the last few months.
ps could hardly hear Donny fans at all on Sky.

Speaking to a mate yesterday he watched the game on TV said the same Noise from the Southend fans was loud........

Lets be honest the noise does not travel well from the west stand across the Pitch....but with u lot under the TV camera's it comes over loud on TV... SO WELL DONE TO EVERYONE :-)

PS anyone know if I can re watch the game over the PC ??

I'm sure we will make a noise at the Keepmoat on Friday as well. Keep trying the 'Sing Up' song it will sound better at away games & should catch on.
