would certainly give War and Peace a run for its money in the length stakesI love this saga tbh. Could definitely be made into a book
I'm told it will be 6-8 weeks.I think we can safely say the timeframe will be more than 2 weeks. It never reached the final stage of DD which was estimated to be 2 weeks. It’ll need to go back through the previous stages (which **should** be an expedited process) and then the final stage.
What I don’t know though is whether the deal agreed in principle is reviewed or whether Citizen need to go away and flesh out what was agreed in principle to present to the firms carrying out the DD. If the latter it could take months.
I was told that too and couldn’t quite believe itI'm told it will be 6-8 weeks.
THIS IS A JOKE
So wait we’re looking at potentially August Time?I was told that too and couldn’t quite believe it
"It was the worst of times.I love this saga tbh. Could definitely be made into a book
That seems realistic based on what we know.I'm told it will be 6-8 weeks.

These are the absolute basics aren't they really- you get commitment on timelines, publish and hold people to it. Especially given the history of endless can kicking, sliding on commitments, failures to deliver, lack of transparency that characterised the last "deal'...That seems realistic based on what we know.
The question is can DD be done immediately eg 6-8 weeks from today or will it be dependent on
a) Ron giving a fresh undertaking to pay - this held things up by 3 months last time
b) Citizen providing more information - this took 4 months last time.
@CllrDanielCowan
Do we know if they accepted the red lines for sure? Or are we assuming base don reports which have not been confirmed anywhereThese are the absolute basics aren't they really- you get commitment on timelines, publish and hold people to it. Even now they are trying it on around the red lines that they were quick to accept but now want to chip away at it seems.
Are you the gentleman who wrote the article to the papers suggesting the previous deal was a great deal for all related to the town ? I would be interested to understand your take on how the new local government I assume think very differently to yours and Anthony Cox's previous deal. Looking forward to your thoughts? You may even work for the outgoing council I don't know? So forgive me if you cant comment.I'm told it will be 6-8 weeks.

Can't you? Really?Ron's taking it to the wire, I can't believe it!
