When will the takeover go through? The Waiting Game...

So by the timelines given in the echo article. At best it’s going to be mid-June earliest. The players are due back end of June, so they look like heading back to a war torn boots and laces.

We’ve all been there. Your significant other asks: what time do I have to be ready tonight? You reply, 17:30. Don’t be late as we’ve got XYZ to contend with.

17:30 rolls around, you’re sitting there, clean, dressed, pre-game beer in hand… and as sure as night follows day, she’s just got out of the shower, talking about “don’t rush me”.

That is Ron. Ron is someone who doesn’t believe time constraints apply to him. He has main character syndrome and as such, knows the next chapter of the story will have to wait for him to be ready.

He’s a ****.

I feel if one side is Ron then the council need to start playing hardball. Set a firm date. If he doesn't agree it by then gets nothing and spends the rest of his days with the ballifs hounding him. He needs this more than us.

Just like the council makes plenty of noise about the need to save the club .Yhen they drag there heels .I know these thing take time but its time we dont have .Maybe they should talk to the creditors and exsplain why they need to wait another month or two or three .

Well that's put a different slant on it^^^^^

This is all becoming so draining on all of us
Just when we feel we are reaching the end of this in goes another spanner which is halting the takeover.

I really do despair with all of this and only one person to blame here. He has tangled our club up so much that no one really knows how to untangle it and as always it’s His was or no way.
Any other sale of a club would have been done and dusted by now - but not us

I really don’t know anymore 😢😢😢😢

So where does the fan pressure need to be applied, if at all? 🎯

Benfleet Towers ( 🐀 )

Camden Towers ( 🐀 Jr )

CBRE ( 🏠💰 )

SCC ( 📝 )
SCC. Just as bad as Ron yet had a bloody easy ride off the fans. They are always delaying things and a huge failure with anything they touch. How long after deal was done did they decide to start DD? I recall it was at least a month, if not longer.

I am a little confused as if we were losing 2 mill a season as stated previously why are the consortium already 3.5 mill down? Surely they cannot wait much longer to ask for season ticket money or is that being held back now as everything is so unsure.

TBH I think this deal is all on a knife edge now and could collapse at any moment.

I’m afraid you are correct mate. We are ****ed.

Yes I think you are right no sign of anything happening they won’t keep pumping money into the club. And we know a what a stubborn man Ron Martin is

The fact remains does it not that rat boy could seal the deal for the sale of the club any time he wants but he’s using us as a bargaining chip? Only protest needed is at his door, sell and let us move on from you. The consortium know now they’ve been used to pay his bills as he messes about. They need to play hard ball as do we as fans regardless of how it could end our club.

I'm not exaggerating at all when I tell you, this COULD continue to go on like this well into next year.

The amount still needed to happen is huge! So many balls are in play right now and many more things could go wrong.

Yes! My my (borderline boring by now) pessimism will eventually come undone, but we are in for a repeat of last summer at this rate

guarantee you this won’t go on until next year. We’d be no longer a club and the consortium would of walked by next year
