The Echo today is saying today that discussions have yet to reach a resolution and are expected to continue today so no mention of a Monday announcement sounds like our Ron is still hanging around for a while

I can’t find the post now as the search function is struggling, but didn’t Mr Cowan clarify that what he actually said was that it had to be done by Monday, rather than it being him suggesting any actual timeframe. Unless that’s a new quote of course!

@CllrDanielCowan said it needed to be by Monday to avoid the sanctions (assuming COSU aren’t going to pay the bond)

The problem with the NL deadline is that Ron doesn't give a **** about it - he ain't paying the £1m and he doesn't care about the consequences of not paying.

So COSU need to make Ron care somehow.
