Had breakfast in the Wetherspoons in Leeds Station.

I have had bad experiences in railway station pubs and expected a very low quality crowd indeed but it was just regular people grabbing breakfast before going about their business.

Still more glasses of Stella on the go than other establishments though.

Long weekend in Bangkok. We won the over 45s 7 a side plate competition . Last year we won overall but that was with professional ringers. Qualifiers on Saturday, unbeaten on finals day Sunday and even made a guest appearance for our over 35s in their final game, they finished 4th. For the over 45s there were 17 teams mostly from all over Asia but also one from Germany and the Netherlands.

And that’s actually me finally done with football. Played my last 11 a side back in January. My ankle flares up every time I play now. I thought I’d rue the day as playing is all I’ve ever known since my first competitive game in 1975! Got to 58-1/2 so can’t complain at that. Lengthy celebrations very long into Sunday night.

We actually know the guy, he used to play for us and now plays for a rival HK team but yes the photobombing was quality.

New puppy not ready for 7 weeks, means we won't miss any of the remaining games and the play-offs as we don't have to puppy mind yet.

Our road is a pothole magnet. Yesterday it got too much and we reported them to SBC with photos. Today email received saying they had looked at them and would mend them within 28 days. You always know if they have as they spray those to be repaired with orange paint. I toddled out to see if there was any orange paint and there was. 5 enormous potholes identified. I’ll keep you posted but I’m impressed so far.
