Question What is making you happy today?

A few years ago I got a Premium Bond win come throught the letter box I open the envolope and saw a 1 and some 00s , I thought it must be £100 win and put it up on the shelf . When my wife came in I said we had had a £100 win , when she looked she called me a dick and said it was £1.000 , silly me .

Yes, I have had wins the last two months after a poor year for them - had been thinking of cashing them in but will wait and see. Read the number of prizes each month is set to increase but I don't think that has started yet.
Purchased £5k's worth end on 2019. Waited 14 months for 1st win ( £25 ), to date have gained £425. After 3 1/2 years that's considerably more than if i had that money in the old Halifax savings a/c which i closed.

Premium Bonds are currently paying the equivalent of 4%pa hence more winners now than say two years ago, when it was less than 1%.
Tax free winnings help as well.

My kitchen tap was in need of replacing, I’ve never done any plumbing. Decided to give it a whirl, worked a treat and cost a hell of a lot less than paying someone to do it.

Until I get a call at 14:57 tomorrow saying the kitchens flooded.

May be an image of text that says 20:20 4G Sussex Police Sussex Police Hi What are laws about driving with a headlight out can be fined? Hi Andy. If you drive without fully working headlights you could be pulled over by Police and issued with a fixed penalty notice. Thank you. Thoughso Aa

Mixer tap that was dripping?

If so you only need to replace the cartridge. It is a simple job and they cost la tenner or so.

It wasn’t dripping, nothing wrong with the tap other than the underneath parts were rusting away and it was coming loose. It’s been there for 4 years and I’ve never liked it, just needed an excuse to replace it.
