Question What is making you happy today?

Sunday lunch at Toulouse restaurant. The roast beef was pretty good but the spiced apple and raisin crumble with ice cream took deserts to a new level. Outrageously good.

Went to the home charity game last night against the Slough Jets.

Great crowd and decent game, suitably impressed

I love going to the Riverside. Even though it is semi pro the speed and levels of skill on display are amazing.

Chelmsford lost 8-3 tonight but I have never seen so many fights in a game.

I have also never been so cold at a game.

Even in the so called charity game there were loads of full on fights.

Only ever been to live NHL games in the States/Canada before but the standard of hockey on display was impressive.

Will definately be going back

The music sometimes irritates me but only when they stray from 80s cheesy rock.

Anything good going on here? The main forum is driving me bonkers today. I rarely frequent this side but I think I will as it seems a happier place. Anyhow, I'm off to London with the other half today to do something or other, maybe a museum or a bit of culture followed by a nice meal... incidentally had a cracking meal and bottle of orange wine in Alchemy in Leigh last night. Super healthy stuff and really tasty.

Yes it is getting a bit fractious on here - I blame RM of course

Played my second competitive football game yesterday - 15 mins as a sub but building fitness back up. New shinnies and new boots alas I came away with a calf strain! Today it’s opera in the background and wallpapering the lounge
If you need a goalkeeper I believe @Leeboy is available.
