Question What is making you happy today?

Day off today. Woke up to a winning bet on the NFL overnight. Then walked the children to school, which I love doing. Then a bacon roll and lounging around watching telly before picking them up again.

This afternoon I'll be listening to the final episode of Serial while driving to Southend, spending some time with my nieces, then seeing my good friend Shrimper In India for the first time in three years. Dinner at the Fish House, couple of drinks, then Friday Night Football at Roots Hall.

It's all coming up Welham today.

Very similar day to me.

I've been off all month, and have taken the kids to school, and picked them up, most days. Today I took them in, went for a wonder around the local shops, taking some stuff to the charity shop, and then took a coffee to my wife as her practice is a five minute walk from home. (I've just realised she asked me to get a few things which I had forgotten. I'll go and get them when I've finished this post.)

Early afternoon we'll both pick the boys up from school. As it's end of term, that'll be about 2.00pm. My eldest has a friend coming back, which is when I escape to Southend to spend time with my parents and brother's family before footy this evening.

The difference being that I have avoided putting the TV on. Oh, and I'm expecting my parents to feed me!

About to wander down to Bramall Lane for our work Christmas Do. Nice Christmas Dinner in the early afternoon and then straight to the pub for a massive session.

Final assignment submission made today, so one thing less to think about! Although with that and an exam to hear about over Christmas, it could be a case of drinking to celebrate or to drown my sorrows.

Anyway, time to reward myself by watching League 2 football tonight!

Fantastic stuff. Not much chance you got any of your stuff returned I suspect?

Thanks, hadn't heard from them since so was surprised when I got the call.

None but luckily not much was taken in the first place. Only thing of value taken was a silver necklace/pendant of my first daughter's fingerprint but I'm getting a new one done and include my second daughter too.

Liar.

Happy that Essex Police have caught the people/person that burgled my house back in April. Sentanced to 8 years in prison.
It is nice to know that they can catch scum , I am still waiting for them to catch the c***s who took my car of my drive and tried to run my wife down , and I had to pay one hundred and twelve pounds to get it out of a car pound in Basildon .

Ice skating with the kids at Chelmsford.

It's a lot harder than the ponces with bouffant hair and crepe jumpsuits make it look.

A couple of stacks and I feel like I have received a punishment beating.

Just got back from a good couple of days at Butlins in Bognor Regis.

The thing that made me really happy was amongst all the arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham hats, shirts and coats, I saw 5 different people wearing Southend United bits. Two of them being kids, made me feel really good that people proudly show their team is Southend and youngsters wearing Southend rather than a premiership team.
