Question What is making you happy today?

After 18 months of initially buying it my MG now has an MOT, tax and insured. It's been a long hard process but so pleased to be able to drive it properly.

When you say properly, do you mean legally? In which case, what have you been doing up to now?

:winking:

My brand new Worcester Bosch 38KW Combi boiler turning up less than twenty hours after I ordered it.

Let me know when its up and running Cyril. My Vaillaint has been making some funny noises lately and struggling to maintain a decent flow of hot water in the shower.

Its one of those should get it done jobs but probably wont till it packs up.

I'd literally driven it from its old owners house to my house which was about 1/4 mile down the road if that, then in and out of the garage. Being deployed for 6 months halted my progress with it and it's so nice to have it on the road. First fill up at the station and some bloke comes over and says 'nice car mate'. Another bonus the guy who did the work (MG specialist) told me it's worth about £4k now! I only paid £1150 for it. :smiles:

I'm sorry but you are not using my shower.

Good for you.

I had an MGF once when they were quite new cars. I was at some lights in London on a very hot day, so I had the roof down. A lorry pulled up next to me and was eyeing up the car. He caught my eye and also said, "Nice car...". I thanked him. This is where I expect it slightly differed from your story, because he continued, "I'll give you 2 kilos of skunk for it."

I declined, and thankfully the lights went green, so I floored it to get away from him!

Exactly, you'd have to open a zoo to keep all those skunks fed & watered - and was he going to help out with the vet bills? Silly man.

Talking of poo, I thought I stepped in some on the way to work - only to check my shoes in the lavvy and finding no trace.
