That terrible silence when you think you may have said a 'very bad' not the right thing but you're just not sure what. Attempts to find out what you may have said only make it worse. Gonna have to just wait it out I think. Women are far too complex for their own good at times.

It's nice to know there is some good people out there.

That wasn't my point, my point was that because I did that the lady was reasonable about getting the work in a cost efficient manner and it didn't actually cost that much.

Nice of you to say so though...

Sky!

They bumped my package price from £56 to £80 as the previous deal they offered me to stay ended. So I cancelled and the best they could do was £61.99. I said no to the guy when cancelling no and went ahead. That was a couple of days ago and they have just phoned to ask AGAIN why I am leaving. I told them what I can get with Virgin. The bloke on the phone just told me sorry for wasting your time! I asked if he was going to offer anything to try and beat that, they said they couldn't. Guess I'm going Virgin then!

Freeview on your telly & Kodi on your laptop. Don't give a penny to that human piece of excrement Murdoch.

It's something I have considered. I use Kodi, just need a decent broadband provider as I get my whole package through Sky.

I can get people not wanting to give money to Murdoch. But then nicking the content - looking forward to the next season of Game Of Thrones sir? - is pretty execrable behaviour in itself.

Maybe, but I refuse to give that scumbag a penny. Call it social justice.

A total lack of decent ChitChat threads that haven't been done to death and then resurrected for another go. Doh!!

It's too ****ing hot.

30C here.

My eldest son is going on a camp with his school Wednesday to Friday. Last year they all came home cold, wet and miserable. I don't think that will be happening this year. That said, my son hates heat, and gets very irritable, so it will be interesting to see how he does.

We've got no aircon in the office, last night I could have slept in the buff in the garden and not been cold. Yesterday, went to a feast festival near Aylesbury and the ran out of cold drinks. I was so hot and drained I couldn't be bothered to look around the wonderful Waddesdon Manor. I like sunshine but this is too much.

People moaning about it being too hot. Same idiots that complain when it rains or if it's about windy and cold.

Maybe this time he'll come home hot, de-hydrated and miserable, these things do happen LB, it's called kismet.

It is actually hotter in England than in HK. Think that is the first time i have officially seen that. 8 days of persistent rain have taken their toll and it is currently 25 degrees. Shocking ! When i say persistent we are having about 10 hours or more heavy rain per day average. The sort of heavy rain that half a day would see parts of the UK under water. More to come too

That's a shame mate, we do feel your pain, honestly.
