To be fair, it's not just the need to sit down, it's the fact that sitting down is safer. A pregnant woman falling over or having someone fall onto them could end really badly.

I agree but my post was talking about women who aren't pregnant but wear the badge to get a seat

I had the same recently when my leg was in a boot. I had one guy look at my boot, look me in the eye and then do nothing. I had two women (on different occasions) kick my foot and then drop heavy bags on it without any kind of apology. The only person to offer me a seat was a female...The day before the boot came off.

Similar story to report here, on public transport in Barna, when I was wearing a surgical boot for 6 weeks, after partially rupturing my achilles tendon.

Did you hand out test strips for them to pee on?!

It shouldn't cost me anything, the station staff should do that.

Same lady has been wearing the badge for months and looks slimmer if anything, I'd put a large sum of money on her not being pregnant.

This is one of my biggest annoyances. Fat people taking up 2 seats on rush hour trains. You take up 2 seats you pay for 2 tickets!!

I also find it annoying that on FGC trains here people often put bags etc on the "empty" seat next to them.

They get very snooty about being asked, politely,to remove them too.

yeah that is ok on a quiet train but agree it is just plain rude at peak times, there is always plenty of room overhead to put your bag.

I sometimes purposefully choose to sit next to a bag ******.

I even had one guy ask if I couldn't sit "over there" (empty seat next to some guy eating a cornish pastie) so he didn't have to move his rucksack. I replied, "you can if you want." Entitled pricks on public transport are the worst.

We're on the same wavelength on this one.:Worthy:

I agree, some people seem to have different ideas as to what that is though. I have been labelled as one of those guys because I take the outside seat (you know the one where there is a row of 3 across from a row of 2 so get extra leg room) when I get on a train rather than the window seat. 1st come 1st served I say, im not stopping anyone sitting in the other seats, they just have to move past me to get to them and if someone asks me to move my legs to get through I'm always very polite.

yeah I'll often sit by the aisle and I'll get up to let people in. I'm 6ft 2 and on the ****** trains up north it's physically impossible for my legs to fit in, I need to be at an angle. Also it makes getting off the train easier.

Does your other half know that you are eyeing up another women every day, and have been doing so for months ?
