Must admit I've been cheering them on, but after seeing them go crazy when Iceland scored against us, I've gone right off them. They seem to hate the English, a bit like Scotland and Eire. The only one that likes us is the Northern Ireland protestants.

Someone in my 15 year olds daughters DofE group died suddenly yesterday of a heart attack. There are no words.

Goodness, how awful. Unfortunately it does happen to young people, you just hope and pray that it won't do to anyone you know - although that's the same with adults too. I hope your daughter and the rest of the group haven't taken it too badly and that, in some way, this will spur them on to achieve their aims in the DofE awards.

Phil, I am quite shocked. The Duke of Edinburgh awards are a wonderful thing, something very character building and worthwhile for young people to get involved in. That's aside from the fact that Napster was talking about a young person who had died, who happened to be part of the award scheme. Not sure how that warrants the criticism of the Duke of Edinburgh himself in that context?
