Temperature of 38.4 and feeling completely ****. I was exiled to the spare room last night and couldn't sleep. At about 1.30 I checked my heart rate: 86 when my normal resting heart rate is about 47-48. No wonder I wasn't sleeping. This is the worst cold/cough I've had in years. The last time I had a high temperature was when I had my tonsils out about 6 years ago.

Still, look on the bright side: I'm working from home for the 2nd time this week.

Our wonderful green heating & cooling system...it goes something like this:

It's mild outside = keep the windows firmly shut.
It's subzero = open all the windows.

Load of *****.

Came in from nightshift at 6.30am so trying to get some kip.
We live by a school & i am now listening to some stupid chav mums playing 'lets honk our car horns at each other over & over again'.

I feel like going outside & slapping 1 or 2 in the gunts...

One of the teaching assistants at my daughter's school was murdered last night by her husband - such a small village, reporters and police everywhere. They had to close school early and let the parents tell the children what had happened. The husband's still on the run as well!!

Women who use handbags as weapons on the London Underground. I'm particularly thinking of ones that are roughly the size of an carry-on case, with very sharp edges, and hoisted over the shoulders in order to provide ideal chest ramming opportunities.
