My own stupid self!!

the Mrs got a new phone yesterday so she asked me if I could get her some insurance cover on it, anyway was doing a bit of research and find that nearly all of them have a £50 excess which I see as normal so I tell her.she is not happy about if her phone breaks she has to pay £50 to start the process off (I don't understand her logic either don't worry!). then she tells me "oh I've looked and protectyourbubble.com doesn't charge you an excess. Stupidly I have set up an account with them only to find there excess is £75.00 and reviews saying they are the worst company ever! not a good review in sight and to top it off I phone up to cancel the policy I've just taken and they say there system takes 48 hours to catch up so to ring back. BRILLIANT!!!

Moral of the story, Trust no-one not even the Mrs!

Being delayed for 20 minutes on the C2C this morning.

To a lesser degree it was like being Terry Waite.

As I walked to the station a taxi stopped and the driver barked at me "train station", and when I told him he drove off. My four year old has better manners.

Technology. Laptop took ****ing yonks to load my cover letter so I could print a fresh batch off, now my podcast catcher closes mid cast any time I try and do the simplist thing. Like write a three sentence pist on a forum, for example.

Now onto our 5th day without wifi.

Landlord saying she can't do anything as she's away for the week, Vodafone possibly the most useless organisation in the world.

We bought a €5 day pass to share between us to the "community wifi", which also didn't work.

Now into a Spanish long weekend with bank holidays on Friday and Monday with no wifi and no solution, all while I'm in the middle of trying to find a job for after Christmas, so will most probably have to spend the majority of my long weekend in the library at uni.

Nowhere near any of the tax evading Coffee chains? Plenty of free Wifi there I would have thought.

Unfortunately not, really odd as that was my first thought, the nearest Starbucks is at the airport, and strangely right next to a Costa coffee, which is a 30 minute bus ride and 4 euros each way.

There's a few small cafes and things with wifi where I've been able to use it on my phone but it hasn't been the best so not sure it'd cope with a laptop! Plus I'd feel a bit more guilty abusing there wifi than $tarbuck$.

Booted out of Masterchef on that basis! We're bypassing the roast tonight and having saute potatoes with green beans and corn to accompany Nandos coated chicken breasts, followed by butterscotch Angel Delight - we know how to live!!!
