What have you watched on TV?

I forgot just how good they were. However not enough Father Jack for my liking!

The actor (Frank Kelly) is now in Emmerdale. I watched it for ten minutes in the hope that he'd tell someone he was SOOOOO SOOOOO SOOOOO SORRY but he didn't. Shame.

Father Ted, or Peep Show?

Father Ted was consistently brilliant for the three series it ran for, whereas Peep Show had five or six truly brilliant series before it began to peak. I personally can't split them too much.

Father Ted is one of the greatest British (well Irish) comedies of all time. Peep Show is better than the majority of stuff but I've watched entire episodes and not laughed.

I definitely agree with you on that last point, but those episodes have largely been limited to the last two or three series, including the one that just finished. As good as it is and as great as it has been, I think it's beginning to jump the shark and one final season to wrap things up should be enough. It'll be a sad day for British comedy when it finishes with shows of the calibre of the Morgana show stepping into its shoes.

Amen brother.

Saw Jools in the early hours.Liked Alison Moyet's couple of numbers and also Roger Daltry's Muddy Waters impression. Not much else.

Just caught up with this on I-player - thought Alison was OK but Roger should stick to his day job (and be better off giving his Telecaster to me :winking:). I thought Bellowhead were the best though found myself liking Cee-Lo Green.

Found The Hogmany Show on BBC1 Scotland a better gig especially Fiddlers Bid (plus oldies Ally Bain & Phil Cunningham {no relation})

Phil Cunningham {no relation})

Can i have your autograph please?

NCIS started up again last night, Hustle starts up again tonight, CSI New York tomorrow, CSI Las Vegas Tuesday...

TV just got good.

The Brain on BBC4. Fascinating documentary about social control. Who knew Pavlov also operated on and used children as well as dogs? Catch it on Iplayer.

Rich Hall's Dirty South on BBC4, brilliant documentary about the southern states portrayl on film, and it's influence on music, literature & culture. Both dispelled & confirmed some of the stereotypes associated with the bible belt. Rich Hall is superb anyway and brought alot of laughs to the show aswell.
