What have you watched on TV?

Catfish. Great documentary on More4, crazy stuff but ended up feeling sorry for the woman by the end. Anyone else see it?

Watched the last two episiodes last night, not sure what to make of it, part of me thinks its crap but was quite enjoying it by the end of episode two.

Jury is out but will give it a chance...

Finally got round to the first episode last night and found that the hour flew by. Not quite as far as that little boy flew in the last scene though. Looking forward to watching the next one tonight. Especially if Emelia Clarke is going to get naked again. this from Caitlin Moran in The Times:

"Meanwhile, in another part of Westeros, where the climate is much more agreeable, Daenerys has just taken off her clothes and is about to get into a huge sunken bath. This is good news for us, because Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) has the most extraordinary arse seen on television in the past ten years. It’s got that grabbable, low-slung heavy cream thing going on that makes you want to place your hands on it, press in quite firmly and say “wubba wubba wubba”. On seeing it, even the straightest of female viewers will turn lesbian for the rest of the evening. I can’t imagine what will have happened to straight men who saw it. I presume they are still lying on the floor, weakly croaking, “The hotness. The hotness.”

In a way, this is what Daenerys’s maid is saying, too. She doesn’t want Daenerys to get in the bath just yet: “It’s too hot, my lady!” she gasps. "

On my Sky+ box.

I watched a documentary that I've had for a few months: Guns, Germs and Steel - how the West ended up pretty much ruling the world. And you know what, it was just down to pure and utter luck. Fascinating stuff.

And Game of Thrones is MUST see TV. Fabulous booby stuff.

Yeah, downloaded that a couple of months ago - crazy indeed, but you couldn't help but pity the poor cow, what a life she had. The part where he rumbled her regarding the songs was epic.

Pure luck, yes. Those dudes who had the stones to travel across the oceans in a wooden box powered by some bits of cloth were just lucky.

Happened many thousands of years before that.

It was just luck that an ancient tribe settled in an area of the world where crops and cattle prospered (the current Middle East). This allowed the beginning of farming, allowing others to do more than hunt gather food - to create steel, or invent written language for example. Due to the fact that this climate is prevalent throughout much of a narrow band of the world and allowed that part of humanity to thrive, where other parts of the world were stuck as hunter/gatherers.

It was fascinating telly.

Just finished re-watching Series 4 of The Wire. Simply the best ever series of any TV show ever. Incredible drama.

Watched Exile over last 3 days. Excellent stuff, well written and well cast.
Have to agree. watched the 1st 2 parts over the last 2 nights, watching the 3rd part tonight.

New episodes of the First 48 on CI Network at midnight - great to see the fat guys in cheap sports coats waiting for their next coronary cracking the cases.

Ross Noble totally stealing Have I Got News For You whilst Victoria Coren failed utterly, the miserable cow.

Must have been time of the month :hilarious:

Modern Family has been brilliant of late, especially last week. Funniest thing I've seen in years.

Maybe - she really was one of the worst panellists I've seen on there for ages. Not quite as bad as that Tory MP a couple of weeks ago mind.

I love Modern Family - didn't watch it last night, but it's sitting there on Sky+, looking forward to it. Hopefully it'll (a) feature lots of Luke and (b) feature plenty of low-cut tops for Gloria.
