Question What do you think will happen before Tuesday ?

What, if anything, do you think will have happened before Tuesday's game.

The only thing that will make COSU have to make decision on Maher & Co is if home attendances start to drop.
With 3 of our next 4 home games on Tues nights, it will be interesting to see the attendances at them.
Especially as 'supposedly' 30% of STH are currently not attending home games anymore, which must be around 1400 fans per game, possibly more during these midweek games?.
Remember, when attendances are given, they include all STH, whether they are there or not.

The embargo was lifted on the 5th of July. We had freedom to sign for most of the summer.
The official takeover date was 19th July though. Pretty sure we wouldn’t have been able to sign players until then even if we wanted to.

Add to that nearly going bust, water supplies being switched off at RH, etc. All tickety-boo back then.

We signed Walker and Gubbins on the 8th of July.

What SHOULD happen, but WONT happen;
Training ground all day Monday work on playing 4-3-3 system ( our team is crying out for this) . Actually practice corners with Morton taking them with a box full of aggressive movement. Play at high tempo & ping the ball, move it quickly not tap it sideways at pedestrian pace. Encourage players to attack with flair, take opponents on rather than take the safe option and play backwards.
Kev/Daz/Benno ARE still the right men for the job, they simply need to take the bleedin' handbrake off our dull play and encourage attacking play & build confidence.
Fair play to Kev + all the lads.... they did all we've been asking of them...
Now this is the bar we've set, keep it the same + the play offs are certainly not out of the question. Great performance, our strikers are gaining confidence.... UTB

Despite the result last night, I remain unconvinced that 3- 4 -3 should be anything other than a Plan B. Last night I felt we were fortunate not to concede in the first 20 minutes. We defended brilliantly to deny Halifax chances. With 3 out and out forwards we are left short in midfield and should the opposition load their own midfield then we have a problem. We are also sacrificing width with Gus and Jack having to play more narrow.

We now have Leon Parillon signed from Slough, he could, when up to speed solve some of the problems. He showed enough last night to suggest that he has the quality to provide something different. Playing in the space just behind a front two might be what Kevin has in mind.

Anyway everyone has their own opinion, but the only one that matters is that of Kevin. Wish people would get off his back. COSU were not expecting promotion this season and getting back to the EFL does matter for a variety of reasons as we know. Right the way from the start of the season Tom Lawrence said Kevin was under no pressure. Without doubt Kevin quite rightly will still be manager next season.
