Question What do you think will happen before Tuesday ?

What, if anything, do you think will have happened before Tuesday's game.

Will anything change before Tuesday? Not what you think should happen but what you think will actually happen.

Absolutely nothing will have happened. Kev and co still have long contracts, and COSU will want to honour them, both for financial reasons and out of sentimentality. It's not what I want to happen given the lack of improvement, but I honestly don't think there will be any change until at least the summer, and probably well beyond.

He won't resign. Anyone with a contract would wait until they are sacked with discussions had around pay-offs etc

Wish I'd studied more at school and become a football manager. Do well you earn some serious dough. Do poorly and your sacked walking away with a chunk of your contract and normally walk into another job such is the merry-go-round of managers and positions

my prime example of this is when Roy Hodgson got the boot after 6 months at Liverpool and walked away with £12 million ( I think ).

I’d happily manage a Prem team for 6 months, not have a clue, get them in the relegation zone, and get the boot for that kind of dosh.

Hell call it an even million

Where do I sign? ✍️

If we don't pick up sufficient points in the next three games and the supporters vent their anger, only then will COSU give any serious thoughts to sacking Kev. Until the crowd turn they won't entertain it as a serious option - even if it is in their minds. The supporters are key here...should they vocally say they want change, it'd be like a green light for COSU to give serious consideration to pulling the trigger.

People will vent there anger and others will have a pop at them for not being "true supporters" and it will turn toxic.

There will almost certainly be performance related clauses in his contract. This will give the club a way of removing Kev without having to pay him off in full.

We’ll probably have to wait until the end of the season though

i voted Kev will still be manager , but hope either he will resign or COSU will relieve him of his duties . The thread should have been titled What do you think should happen ,so people can really vote what they think should happen , its clear has day he will still be here come Tuesday .

That game was awful. Got back to the car and listened to the post match interview, Kev's version of the game was nothing like reality. The bloke from BBC Essex asks the most weak questions and Kev roles out stats about possession - the only two stats that matter are yet again we didn't score and we conceded another set piece goal.

The sideways & backwards chants summed it up.

Two weeks on the trot we have lost to part timers.

Enough is enough.

And there lies the problem. Majority of this fanbase won’t turn. Look how much of a struggle it was for people to turn on Ron let alone turn on maher

Circumstances are rather different though, don't you think? Ridiculous to compare the two scenarios.

Maher will still be there, unless we get relegated this season, then he will be given that full pre-season which he's never had and next season will be the one on which to judge him.

He will still be manager but I hope I am wrong. It is not just the last two defeats that has made me say this but I can't remember another season when I have felt so deflated after the game. I can count on one hand the number of times this hasn't happened. There have been bad seasons before but there was very little expectations in those.
