Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros live at Acton Town Hall, Joe sounds on great form 1month later its game over, v.depressed now.

Monday December 23rd, 2002 - an old mate rang me to tell me the news. Genuinely shocked. My bro' saw him about a year before in Barcelona and remarked on how good he looked. Glad he got time back with us making music again and that gig at Acton was a benefit one for the firefighters. Mick Jones got up on stage too - the first time they played on stage together since the break-up. All documented in a book too - I think it was called 'The Night London Burned.' RIP Joe.

The whole gig is a mixture of Mescaleros and Clash songs but the final two White Riot and Londons Burning are where Jonsey jumped on stage they sound really good.

RIP Eddie.
