Didn't you use to listen to(and like) groups such as Hawkwind,Thin Lizzy, The Groundhogs,Rory Gallagher etc?

Groundhogs and Rory Gallagher are blues rock as you well know - Thin Lizzy are well Thin Lizzy (and not heavy metal) - Hawkwind I have never seen or indeed bought a recording of - still no link to heavy metal TBS

Actually if you check Wikipedia's Motorhead page you'll see both TL and Hawkwind cited as Motorhead's HM contempories but what the hell do they know? :unsure:
btw Motorhead are here tonight -don't think I'll be going somehow.:smile:
 
Here, had a day of The Pogues and now The Jam to work out who's the bestest band ever in the whole wide world.

That would have to be Buffalo Springfield or the Beachboys.But the Pogues and The Jam were pretty good too as young whippersnappers go.Don't forget to listen to some Creedence Clearwater Revival either.:winking:
