What are you having for lunch? (rolling thread)

Chilli and cheese is my absolute favourite, followed by tuna mayo, mixed with red onions, celery and red peppers all cut up quite small for some added texture. Not sweetcorn though.
The tuna mix sounds good, I sometimes add peppers but will try celery too, I also like olives. Agree re sweetcorn, love it as a hot veg but horrible cold with tuna - I guess it must be popular as seems to be on virtually every menu (except ours !) for jackets and sandwiches.

Crab sticks, with lots of vinegar and pepper, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber and the last of hubby's home made potato salad, which is basically mash, mixed with lots of red and spring onions, peas and salad cream (sounds horrific, but actually tastes really good!).

Gastronomical experience this evening. We dropped into John Gold Butchers on the Hullbridge Road this morning on the way home from Hockley. Picked up a couple of pork chops which the boss freshly butchered whilst we waited. To say they were huge would be an understatement but worth the price. Air fried the rascals for dinner this evening and realised what we had been missing buying meat from supermarkets.
