Yet, TFL have been proactive by putting on additional train services, whereas, the NL have done nothing but bury their heads in the sand and come up with a logistical nightmare **** show that is travel to Southend to get a coach. Absolute morons.I’ve just seen the NL statement who are blaming TfL, claiming the venue was booked long before the engineering works were booked in.
I have to drive near that area quite a bit from Chelmsford and it’s when you get off the m25 that it starts to get busy. Around Wembley it is still often slow moving traffic on a Sunday evening so best to give yourself a bit of extra time to what the sat nav will say especially as the later it gets in the morning the busier it will get. If you don’t mind getting there early it would probably be best to arrive around 11/12 so you get there before all the coaches start approaching the area.Haven’t driven to Wembley before, but seems like roads will be pretty busy. We’ll be driving from Chelmsford/SWF - does anybody know what sort of time is best to leave? Would want a few hours pre-match for some beers and atmosphere. Google maps says just over an hour but obviously not representative of Sunday traffic!
Plus we all know TfL don’t just put works on for the sake of it and have them planned a long time in advance. The fact they have helped with more trains is great (I think they could have potentially done a bit more) but NL have done **** all again and made a mess of something yet again.Yet, TFL have been proactive by putting on additional train services, whereas, the NL have done nothing but bury their heads in the sands and come up with a logistical nightmare **** show that is travel to Southend to get a coach. Absolute morons.
I thought if you were running an independent coach you were allowed to get tickets?I have organised a coach for Sunday (52 seats)
*** Due to the latest release of tickets being coach package we now have 12 seats to fill due to drop outs without tickets ***
£21 a head there & back.
-Pick up is from Rayleigh station (coach leaves at 10am, must be there before 9.45)
-The coach will leave Wembley at 7.15pm(allowing extra time and penalties if need be, to Rayleigh station)
Payment to secure your seat asap & will add you into the group chat. PM me if interested
The seemingly complete lack of realisation that not everyone who supports Southend lives in Southend is so frustrating. Expecting people to potentially add hours to their round trip to get to Southend for the coach and then from Southend home is ridiculous. They must know desperate people will just pay the inflated price and make their own way. I assume they know and don’t care, as they’ll feel they’ve done their bit. But it makes the whole health and safety argument look a bit stupid.Yet, TFL have been proactive by putting on additional train services, whereas, the NL have done nothing but bury their heads in the sands and come up with a logistical nightmare **** show that is travel to Southend to get a coach. Having worked there for years, it can take anywhere from 1.5 - 2 hours, with several traffic hurdles on the way. I would leave around 10am if you want to relax beforehand.Haven’t driven to Wembley before, but seems like roads will be pretty busy. Thanks mate much appreciated!I have to drive near that area quite a bit from Chelmsford and it’s when you get off the m25 that it starts to get busy. Thanks mate, appreciate it. I might do that. Can’t deal with even more nerves about the game worrying if I’m gonna get there on time!Having worked there for years, it can take anywhere from 1.5 - 2 hours, with several traffic hurdles on the way. Still had to get your own tickets through the siteI thought if you were running an independent coach you were allowed to get tickets?
There's loads of tickets left now. Would they not sell them now without the official coach?Still had to get your own tickets through the site
I’m still calling bs on this. The earliest published dates I can find are Feb this year so either a) they were finalised late or b) NL and TFL agreed the dates long in advance of publishing and determined that engineering wouldn’t be a problem. If it turns out there is a c) I’ll choke on it.Jack Pearce who is the Chairman of the National League was the vice-chair of the FA… unsure if he still holds a role on the FA board.

National League Statement: Promotion Final Ticket Allocations - The Vanarama National League
The National League wish to make the following statement regarding Promotion Final ticketing allocations.www.thenationalleague.org.uk
Yeah surely if someone turned up to the ticket office with all the confirmation of the coach being booked there would be something the club can do. Unless Wembley are really tying their hands. There's loads of tickets left now. Would they not sell them now without the official coach?
We have registered our coach with club last week so those tickets would likely have been allocated alreadyThere's loads of tickets left now. Would they not sell them now without the official coach?
Exactly how I see it too. TFL either booked the works late and ignored the NL’s plea not to do it on the weekend of the final, or the NL gave TFL their blessing expecting 20k to turn up. I’m leaning towards the latter. The whole world probably fell out of their arse when they watched Southend and Oldham reach the final.I’m still calling bs on this. Key Dates Confirmed For The End Of The National League Season - The Vanarama National League
Key dates for the supporters’ diaries have been confirmed ahead of the Vanarama National League play-offs.www.thenationalleague.org.uk
OK I must have misunderstood the process, I thought you were guaranteed tickets if running an independent coach/mini bus.We have registered our coach with club last week so those tickets would likely have been allocated already
From what the trust said even registering our coach, all passengers still have to acquire their own ticket through the club. If there’s spare allocation which it seems there will be now, I’m going to phone club and see if 12 tickets can be sold without their coach packageOK I must have misunderstood the process, I thought you were guaranteed tickets if running an independent coach/mini bus.
