I noticed , yet again last night that Farage was the only leader to consistently give a straight answer to a straight question. Unfortunately the lib/lab/con pact were too frightened to alliw him on 'their' show.

only my opinion.

Up the blues!

Whilst just writing on the Labour thread, I just had UKIP knock upon my door. I think I saw about 6 or so of them, now if anyone on here is involved with the party, please tell them to smarten up a bit. They looked like a group that had just been dragged out of a pub after a days work dressed in tracksuit bottoms etc. Only one managed to make an effort and perhaps the most unlikely UKIP member as he was of an ethnic race.

That's the second time I've heard this in as many days. What area are you in, so the email goes to the right candidate.

Well I don't want to grass, actually it doesn't matter as I am not a UKIP supporter as I would rather the electorate had the choice on the EU, but just so they realise the kind of first impression it can make I thought I would put it out there. Oh by the way it's Castle Point.

Surprised at that. Have heard they have been doing a good job of spreading the UKIP message. And for what its worth, I think canvassers should be reasonably smartly dressed, as you say, gives a better impression.

certainly not a UKIP fan but to get only 1 seat when they got such a large proportion of the vote can't be democracy
