Scare Millwall and anybody else off and put a £2 Million price tag on his head it seems to work for Paolo Di Canio when people ask about his players, Hall is to vital to this team and hoepfully promotion this term and i recall my conversations with TB the club wont sell our best players when we are pushing for promotion
£1 million for creepy players ....£4 million for any body with two legs the price tag by that **** fry.

£500k up front + £250k in installments over 12 months + 25% sell on clause fee and it's a done deal.

If we could interest Leon Cort, that'd be grand doubt he'd be interested though but with Henry going to Arsenal, Scholes to United and Euell to Wimbledon, could he be our past reborn?

Would you take that money over promotion? I wouldn't.

If they have business sense and want any hope of League 1 football plus the increased TV revenue and gate receipts that will bring, they'll keep him until the end of the season at least. If he goes during this window, it would show an unacceptable lack of ambition by the board.

I'd rather keep him but if we were offered that, I'd think long and hard about accepting.

In the South London press ( Millwall's version of the Echo ) reports that Millwall are keeping strong tabs on Hall. I did see this on the football rumours site but now , as I say, its in their local paper and I believe a similar article is in 4-4-2.

We're too far south I reckon.

That will play a factor I think.

But, we are quite an inviting prospect these days (more than we have been for a while anyway) as we're going for promotion. So who knows...

Anyone hear of a Anto Flood? Being touted here in Dublin that the former Bohemians striker - who had a brief stint at Swedish club Orebro SK - is set for a move to Southend. It'd be a free transfer as he's out of contract. He also had a trial earlier in the season with Mansfield.

Anybody hear anything of him on that side of the water?

not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but leon cort is on a free now, my favourite southend centre back of all time:thumbsup:

Michael Nelson, the man whos goal for Hartlepool at Griffin Park clinched our promotion to the Championship has been released by Scunthorpe

He'd be an excellent acquisition IMO

EDIT: Likely to be joining Kilmarnock apparently

Oh well that was a nice 5 minutes anyway

Just seen that AFC Wimbledon have snapped up Billy Knott from Sunderland , have posted a few times about this lad is he is an old scholl winger who scores goals too , would have him here in a heart beat as I believe he will be a top player .

Local lad too who i reckon would jump at the chance at Roots Hall , very creative too so would replace Hall if does go
