Its not rocket science if your a season ticket holder and been watching kev playing style for past 2-3 years to see what he wants from he cb, he wants a tough takling cb, that can carry the ball out, thrown there body on the line and chip in with goals, thats what ludwig francillette brings and is a free transfer, just left hes club, at a good age, and athletic also experienced to the point simuler games played as harry Boyes..

But that doesn’t mean it’s him.

John Terry fits that description of what you say too, does that mean we are signing him?

You could name the attributes you want for a new striker, and find a player that matches it, doesn’t mean we will be interested or signing them…

To be fair, I’d hardly describe the likes of Kensdale or Golding, who both played CCB, as tough tackling…

Doesn’t Goodliffe fit the description too…

The only bit that I would add is that he hasn`t been seen at pre-season training at Eastleigh FC. They reported back last Thursday. He is out of contract, 30/5/2025. I understood a few weeks ago that he had been offered a new offer and negotiations were ongoing. This is not to say he`s joining us, but just reporting on what`s happening local to me. I`m keeping my eyes and ears to the ground, trying to get information on their fans forum is like the annual NL meeting, 2 men in a shed, opened twice a year 🤔 😂 🤣 We are blessed to have Shimperzone. I really do hope that we have at least tried with Ludwig Francillette, it would be another quality piece in the jigsaw puzzle.
They have also signed a new CB in Temi Eweka on his departure from Maidstone United.

Goodlife hasn’t got the distribution or ball playing piece- which was important but may no longer be. Getting everything at our level is tough. The Eastleigh guy seems a better fit but I suspect is destined for the EFL.
