Arsenal have released Jack Jebb, who was meant to be the next Jack Wilshere. He was on loan at Stevenage for a few months before suffering a knee injury, but returned for the last part of the season. Could be that creative spark needed in the middle of midfield.

Isnt that what Payne is meant to be or hopefully offer this season? Think its a big season for Payne, League should suit him better than the physical league two

Callum Harriot released by Charlton as well as looking to offload piggy, Rhoys Wiggins and Andre Bikey. Think I would have all four of them, especially Harriot the kid is a class act not sure why he's been released!

Rumours going around that QPR, Huddersfield & Wolves want Harriott so sounds like we don't have a chance.

I agree it is a big season for him. He had his bedding in season in 13/14 and last season he broke into the first team making a fair amount of starts so now he can hopefully kick on and show what he can do. All depends on how Brown plans on using him.

As for Jebb, I think this is exactly the type of player we should be signing. Someone who is young and probably rough around the edges, pick them up on a free and, I'd guess, fairly cheap wages and then turn them into a quality player in a few seasons.

October 2013. Doesnt make what he did right, but thats a bit in the past. Sure he has learnt his lesson etc

You'd hope so. Funny how stuff like that sticks though, asked 3 Arsenal fans about him and the 1st thing they all said is about him being done for racism.

Timlin has been in jail but your ok with him I assume?

Just to make sure we're clear, are you saying that you consider racial abuse no worse than Timlin's offence?

That said, everyone is entitled to a second chance, especially at that age.

Yep I don't really think what Timlin did would offend anyone he plays with. I'm not saying condemn the kid, we all say stupid stuff as a youngster and if it was a stupid mistake then fair enough, if that is his opinion then it could cause tensions

One went to jail for lying to a police man and the other called someone a name? Seems like Timlin at least as much of a villain on paper if not more.

When put like that I don't disagree. My point was that I don't think any of the guys he plays with would care that he tried to get out of a driving ban, I think that some would care if their team mate used racist language though.

Man City released Adam Drury, who I believe we tried to get on loan but couldn't guarantee him starting every game. Could be a good signing as competition for the full-back roles and one for the future too.
