Dale jennins cost Barnsley £250,000 from Bayern, he must be very injury prone to cut their losses like that.

Definitely worth a short term deal though IMO, looks good when running at players with the ball.

His goals to games ratio isnt that great though, appears to be more of a wide player who likes to cut in.

Apart from the fact that the last one of those was a practice match, if you add up the whole amount of time from the beginning of each clip to the time the goal went in you get:

Clip 1: 13 seconds
Clip 2: 16 seconds
Clip 3: 26 seconds

Therefore you've shown us clips totalling just 55 seconds. Do you really think it is sensible to judge a player's potential on less than a minute of play? That's not even 1/90th of one match.

According to wikipedia he's played a total of 100 career matches. Even being generous and assuming no additional time in any of those matches, you're basing your opinion on 0.01% of his total career. Personally I'd be more interested in the other 99.9%.

You do know where you are posting right? :winking:

Jennings is a really interesting case. Untold potential at a young age, but he's really struggled with serious injuries in the past and has only played 29 league games for Barnsley in the last two years.

No doubt he'll get snapped up by one of the bigger clubs in League One for a much larger pay packet than we could afford, but he's a very risky transfer in my opinion. We're not really in a position to take such risks.

Bury are set to sign Tom Pope apparently. They're certainly making some interesting early moves, him and Leon Clarke could be a handful up front.

This possibility has been bubbling on the Bury message board for some time. Mixed views on whether he is past his best, knackered knees according to Port Vale fans.

Well when I messaged him on the facebooks, that is who he said he'd be signing for. Don't shoot the messenger

Why not, you're an easy target. Take your medicine like a man.:gun:

YES. This is Shrimperzone!. What more proof do you need?
Its a bit like that goal machine Jamar Loza - scores once on home debut - some people want a 3 year contract awarded.

With an option to extend for another year please ................................. :nope:

For the people questioning his ability, that really isn't in question, given that Bayern Munich spent months scouting the boy before signing him. The issue is his ability to stay fit, which is obviously a huge worry if we're splashing out for his services.

This was the clip I was referring to earlier in the thread, with the goal against Plymouth propelling him into the limelight:

Straker-esque that.

PB's tactic last year was to agree we were interested in any good or viable option put to him creating a smokescreen around who he was really after. I expect more of the same.

Sign him up, he could be the next Rohan Ricketts

I think Jennings has been proven to be consistently incapable of maintaining any level of match fitness even since being kicked out of the Liverpool youth system and not somebody we should look at.
