When a player leaves I never post one of those 'good riddance posts that seem quite popular.
Elvis always gave his all for the team but I honestly don't think he's that good and certainly didn't have a great last season.
He has potential for sure , but positionaly he is quite naive and undisciplined.
I hope he does well though wherever he goes.
 
Be interesting to see how happy either would be paying a fee. These Twitter accounts are nonsense 90% of the time. That said end of contracts in June and the start of training concentrated the minds a bit

Undisciplined? Maybe some things can be said of Elvis, but lack of discipline is certainly not one of them. I think you struggle to find a more dilligent, disciplined player at this club in the last few years.

I will be gutted if/when he leaves. I can't remember where I read it from on here, but someone found a stat which showed most of our goals conceded last season was on our left side. On Elvis's right side we were safe as houses.

I do not htink he was undsiciplined temperament wise but positionally i can see where that comment could be aimed at him.

If he does leave (although I thought he said he wanted to stay and get us back up) then I wish him all the best

It's strange how that is levelled at him but, not say Sam Hart, or the more experienced Jason Demetriou because I'd know who I'd rather.

I was just pointing out about the comment re Elvis there, the others hadn’t been mentioned that I could tell. For me he is undisciplined defensively, just my opinion, but that is also something he can learn.

But as you mention Hart i thought he was terrible last season barring the first 2 games, as for Demi in midfield i thought he was not good when he played RB I thought he did ok. Out of Elvis and Demi you would have to choose Elvis, Demi is getting knocks and slower so longevity and improvement would be with Elvis
 
It’s gone awfully quite last couple of days regarding transfers. I wonder if we are waiting for contracts to expire tomorrow before making anymore announcements.
 
Would love to see Josh Ree's local lad! Went to school in Southend, proven at National League level, got a bundle of goals last season 1 in 3 good return from mideld.. No brainer for me.
