A Bit of Fun Transfer Rumours Thread (Potential New Signings)

Been played mainly as a left winger for Bromley. Doesn't stand out in any of the stats but looks like a good dribbler and crosser of the ball.
PB usually plays a 442, with the 4 midfields only having one winger who can swap sides. Atko used to play wide of the midfield central two but not a winger, is that what Jack plays as?

Three years ago we avoided the drop on the last day of the season when we beat Sunderland. We then followed this by back to back relegations. so we have essentially been crap for three seasons. Frequently calling on our youth system during this time did not improve our situation. Signing one of our ex youth products is going to turn things around?
More of the same might not be good enough for us to contend in the NL.

Believe me, Haigh is far superior to Montgomery and certainly a step up (probably steps plural) from Oxley. Get him in pronto.
How many Gateshead/Chesterfield games have you watched to arrive at this conclusion?

I imagine you (and the rest of the anti-Oxley brigade) are going to be in for a big shock when we are only able to replace him with an inferior goalkeeper at NL level. Whether that’s Haigh or not.

knowing Phil brown if he cant get oxley to stay .Then there is every chance he will have another keeper in his thoughts .

Not watched them live, but looks like Bromley have primarily used a 4-4-2 with the occasional 4-2-3-1. So Bridge would have been left midfielder in 4-4-2 and a more advanced winger in a 4-2-3-1 setup.

Would assume he would play left midfield for us. Who else do we have there apart from Walsh and Kinali?

I see Kinola more as a winger, same with ANG, neither have the tackling for a midfielder or strike rate or line leading play for a forward in a 442.
I expect Eggers would be happy to play anywhere, including gk! And give 100%

Ill be honest and say i will be very underwhelmed by Jack Bridge.

Ive never seen anything in him that suggests he is someone who could be a first team regular. If he does come then i will give him the benefit of the doubt and hope he has improved, but the fact he has gone from league 1 to Bromley says it all.

Sassuolo would be fantastic move for kinali. their Italian club who have decent history of developing young players.

If kinali moves on, then that's 2 youth players who have gone onto bigger and better things..... shows how clueless of a manager MM was!

Im not sure which way you’re taking a dig at MM because he didn’t really use Coker or Kinali.

I am aiming dig at MM. admittedly ron handed him bad set of cards but some of those youngsters, ie kinali which sol campball used during few games in league 1. MM didn't hardly entertain any of them when it came to league games. Looks to me MM didn't bother to find out from youth coaches which of those youngsters did well under the previous regime.

I thought that was the case just checking. I watched Kinali play and thought he was a decent looking player. And that was in League One!
