Agreed, we do have some really odd fans! Like When Mantom played for us, some loved him. There would be times where he would be slagged off for bottling 700 tackles, then he would do a pass to someone and then someone would say GREAT PASS BY MANTOM!!!! Very strange, but I guess the world would be a boring place without opinions.
 
I wasnt a fan but to be fair in his latter spell on his day he was actually highlighted for putting through quite a few good balls, which we lacked

Why has a player who plays in the sixth level of English football even got an agent..

I’m in favour of Brown looking elsewhere. From what I’ve seen watching Concord I don’t think he is good enough for a promotion push.. as good as that cup final performance was.

Probably to help them gain exposure and to push for a move to a higher club. Agents will have contacts at league clubs that can get them further through the door than if the player tried on their own.

You are right that he didn't do anything amazing, he was solid. I don't think we'd be signing him based on what he did with us, although that certainly wouldn't count against him. When we signed him I saw lots of posts from various supporters of various national league clubs commenting he was the best keeper in the league and he deserved a shot at the football league. That sounds like the sort of player we should be looking at.

Hasn't he recently joined Chesterfield?
 
his contract runs out after sat game Chesterfields last game of the season .As is the yeovil striker that is going to join us after his contract runs out in the summer .

Bit of a redundant point then. Since Gateshead, Montgomery has played in the league and NL. Haigh has remained at Concord. I'd be surprised if we took him from Concord to be our main 'keeper.
 
I dislike loans as much as the next person but I might consider a loan keeper depending on whose available for the first half of the season to see if Seaden is ready to step up this season. If you sign another keeper he'll get buried all over again.

Loans have changed the last few seasons, with players often getting one year deals with add ons then that isn't a lot different from a season long loan in many ways.
