Our British summer seems to be incapable of maintaining the Indian tan..who would have thunk it... A good time for the tanning salons of Essex to be offering VIP memberships.

What I have noticed given our demands for better communication, is that we are now spoilt with at least one or more updates on a daily basis. After Sol and MM, PB must be manna from heaven for CP (probably answers his phone, phones him back, all sorts of wonderful things..)

We desperately need to address our striker forces for the new season. National League recent history tells us that you need to score 65 + goals to get promoted. With one more round of fixtures still to come every club with exception of one have scored 40goals or more. Even Barnet with 35 (6 more than us) has failed that stat.

Not to mention that because were under embargo for most of the year the majority of the signings were after the transfer window had closed where we could only sign players off the street that nobody else had wanted for months - Ranger, Halford, Holmes, Hart, Walsh etc.

The only permanent signing completed before the season started was Shaun Hobson, who was voted Player of the Season.

I guess we are waiting on whether Oxley will sign or not before moving on a goalkeeper.

Maybe with more experience in a testing league , not many young first choice keepers in the NL.

hes been training with us during the run in, so lets be clear here, Brown would have seen him, along with the goalkeeping coaches and Duncan Fagan etc.. so it wont be because they have ignored his advances, if he doesn't sign

I’ve seen this guy play a few times and he is very boarder line on being good enough, I said on a previous post that concord actually brought in a loan keeper to replace Chris as he went through a rough spell, great shot stopper but not sure he could do it consistently at the level we are right now, if Oxley goes it’ll be a more experienced keeper than Chris I’m afraid.

I've heard that he isn't as highly thought of, even at Concord, as people may believe. From what I've heard, his cup final performance was a bit of an anomaly.

Not good enough for a promotion push, sadly either is Seaden.

I'd go for James Montgomery personally or an available senior keeper
