He is under contract, but the terms of the contract aren't what daggers now want. They have the option to mutually terminate the contract (assuming EJ agrees) or have a keeper not playing as they don't want to trigger a contract clause. The latter is a waste of money for them. I really don't think we should be paying a transfer fee so that it looks good for their fans.

Then we’d have to wait till the summer when his existing deal expires, and run the risk of losing out on our man again…

It's probably 50/50. Daggers could do a u turn on the deal that's been reneged on but Justham may have already decided to leave. Whether that's us or someone else remains to be seen.

Bridge looks really uncomfortable on the right. He doesn't seem to have the pace to go outside his full back.
