Doubt it. Why get in 1 striker when Cardwell is out and Sandat is on a 4 week loan. Alway room for more strikers as that helps the bench options.

We are interested in more than one striker that is for certain, and we are in talks with a few. We SHOULD have one in before Saturday all being well.

I'd like to think they are actually emailing/phoning real people and not their general inbox.

Lewis and Morton are both central midfielders who by all accounts are very similar types of players. Neither would be to replace Cardwell.

I think it's a risk wherever a player is signed from. Whether they fit into playing tactics, get used to a new location and new personalities.

You only have to look at Mooney's time with us, after coming from a team in the same division and there being no doubt about his ability, having won PotS at his old club, to see any transfer is a gamble.
