Also hope he does well would just prefer it was us to benefit from it than another club. Feel like he just needs a run in a side and he won’t get it here.

Im told Hooper is struggling at Maldon at the moment. They signed 8 players in a week short time back. Brought on a reality TV star as sub on Saturday who hasn't played in ages. This of course has left some of their players bit P***** off. I can see choosing acting over ability causing a few problems for them.

I hope so. We are very light on the bench otherwise. I'm hoping for a nice little loan from an EFL club for a player on the fringes and just wants to play games.

Some pace off the bench would be nice now we have one and a half targetmen.

Never underestimate a bit of pace. Just look at what Matt Dennis gave us. Just that ability to be first to the ball in the area, to stress defenders into mistakes, to make defenders play deeper.

It's exactly what I thought Walker was going to be. He's been so disappointing. But agreed, it's what we've needed/missed all season (Pepple aside).

So we have Bonne, Hopper, Walker and Kendall as strikers. Won’t be seeing much of three up top unless we have a loanee lined up. Or maybe one half three up top and one two up top:-)

Surely we are at least looking to replace rather than be down top four strikers- couple of injuries or a suspension or both and we are struggling?

To be honest, I think we are probably better off waiting now anyway before buying anyone.

I would still rather Walker than Dennis who I thought often looked lazy re tracking back etc.
