I noticed that their assistant manager is an ex shrimper Mickey Spillane 9 games in 2013

I thought the same when I watched him Vs spurs. He tore Drăgușin a new one. Really reminded me of a Corr performance. A real nasty piece of work to play against.

We can confirm Jesurun Uchegbulam has returned to Oldham Athletic after being recalled from his loan spell with the Spitfires. An hour ago on their website.

We have a lot of players whos contracts expire next season so unless clubs come in with some offers, I dont think we will be signing as many players as some think we might in the summer

Makes you wonder if Oldham have recalled to play him or recalled him as they have only gained 3 points in their last 6 games whilst Eastleigh have earned 10 points, closing the gap on Oldham by 7 points.

What do people think is a realistic number of incomings in the summer? I believe we need at least 5 to go straight in to the starting 11. Personally think we need two new starting centre backs (to replace those who'll leave on loan/Ralph), a left footed, left wingback to replace Jack Bridge, a creative midfielder and a striker who scores goals. Too much to ask for? Properly but I think that's the bare minimum we need.

The problem is that the vast majority of this squad will still be under contract. I can't see us signing more than three new players. Unless they are far better than the current squad it could be the same frustration next season.

Yep, this is the issue Kev and COSU will have at the end of the season.

IMO too many bang average players have been rewarded extended deals on sentiment alone. As I've mentioned previously, someone in COSU is going to need to brush up on their "by mutual agreement" negotiating skills this spring/summer to give us a shot at clearing the decks a little.

We are overloaded with players who in truth shouldn't be part of the starting XI of a club which needs to genuinely be chasing promotion next season. There won't be any free passes or allowances from the supporter base next season. We need to be in at the very least a play-off birth come Christmas....or the fans will turn big time.

Over to you COSU, clear the decks (Somehow) and show us some ambition with quality signings, early doors. The fans will respond in kind with season card sales. If not, expect a fairly healthy drop in sales...

Daniel Kanu is not getting much of a chance at Charlton! Is it beyond possibility to get him in for a season long loan in August? A permanent transfer would be unaffordable for us!
