Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Rumours Etc part 2.....2024/25

Transfer news
Golding - was already here
Goodliffe - brought in due to injury to Crowther (there is a chance he may have been a target)
Hopper - brought in due to Bim leaving
Parillon and Hayes are not affected by the window and Hayes only likely due to injury to Collin

My point being in October / November we were told we needed to wait for the transfer window to open to bring targets in. I was expecting to see a bit more movement to be honest

f Hayes is to be announced but is it on a contract or is it on loan I would rather we brought him in .As even when colin returns he need another keeper to push him for the shirt .And our loan keeper will return to hid parent club either soon or at the end of the season .

14 recently brought into clubs in our league from premiership, 13 of which are loans, mostly 21 year olds

Think you may have misunderstood. I thought we were told that we needed the transfer window to close for EFL clubs as it means we have no EFL competition for our targets once the window is closed? Leaves a player with the choice of joining a NL club or sitting on the bench/not making the squad in EFL.

Do we know what the delay is with Hayes? Seems as though it was done going by certain posts etc but it seems to be dragging on. No rush obviously, just wondering.

It's not dragging on. Just hasn't been announced yet, and we know Kev isn't keen on announcing players until game day.

Ok so is Hayes with the squad does anyone know Has anyone been to watch training to see if he is there And has chris philips been told to keep mum on hayes being at the club .

I would imagine that to bring bodies in we need to shift bodies out.

Our players are just not of good enough quality to be wanted by clubs higher up the pyramid- the only possible exception being Coker who does have real potential.

Charlie Sayers released by Partick Thistle by mutual consent. I know he was one that left just as he broke into the squad very early in Kevs tenure (probably to pay a few bills as was still in Martins control). Could he do a job on the left.

I know we shouldn't just look at ex players but feel that he left due to financial constraints (we needed the cash) rather than he was crap
