He has had one significant injury years ago and has been fine ever since. Including the last couple of year at Col…newsflash…all footballers get injuries…

As I posted re the Brentwood striker on the old thread. Defo not signing at this stage, was told last week he was heading up north for a trial but was back in Brentwood’s squad and scored yesterday so doesn’t sound like either club who had him in thinks he’s ready just yet. I don’t think it’s a definite no, more a let’s revisit in the summer type thing. A lot of players struggle to transition up to full time with work commitments etc but logistically we would be the best fit for him. Be interesting to see if any other sides go in for him, can see him at Aveley and they need the goals.

A few people mentioned outgoings last week. Bonne was a name that was mentioned amongst those who would be let go… any further on that after the impressive display this weekend? Given how frequently Kev uses him I was surprised when the rumours surfaced last week.

I don’t think anybody serious has indicated any move to let Macca go. Just a few of the usual suspects on here writing him off.

He might just get a hatful now, if he can get another one or two pdq. We’ve certainly lined up a few tasty looking fixtures for a hungry striker….

I heard the other day we were in for a player at Slough so this seems to fit.

I also heard hopper was pretty much a done deal but it does appear that he is pushing for more money.

Difficult one really.

Say we sign Hopper and the lad from Slough ahead of Fylde (if not Sittingbourne) would you say it's therefore been a good month for us?

Don't also forget that Golding was extended this month (unofficially) and Goodliffe added. I think that's a really decent month if the two mentioned above come into fruition.

A GK is a must though and a LWB if we are really pushing it.
