Wesley Ngo Baheng

Worth a pop I reckon.

Had a good read up on him and he seems a very talented lad. Was picked up by Newcastle from Le Havre, scored quite a few goals for the ressies, then got a hideous cruciate injury which sidelined him for nearly 2 seasons. As such he was released by the Mags. Been on trial at a few clubs, but does not seem to have made much impact.

I think he is another of those wasted talents. That has had some bad luck with injury and is trying he's hardest to make it back into the game.

Worth a trial at least?

Cracking first name!!!!

Anyone noticing the ticking away of the transfer window? What was that about avoiding last minute signings...............not really a dig........what can you do when targets won't sign up. Must be incredibly frustrating for PS.

With the signings of Sawyer and Comminges and the return from injury of Phillips, it's only really cover for Corr's dodgy back that we need (Mohsni?). Otherwise we can sit tight and wait for the right players to come along.

GK Morris, Evans
RB Clohessy, Comminges
LB Gilbert, Barker
CB Barker, Coughlan, Mohsni, Phillips, Ferdinand
CM Easton, Grant, Ferdinand, Sawyer, Comminges
LM/RM Hall, Sawyer, Soares, Comminges
CF Corr, Sturrock, Mohsni, Crawford

Available for transfer: Herd, Paterson, Spencer, Bouzid
Out on loan: Prosser

Don't agree - but when do I agree with you??

GK Morris, Evans (Evans is not happy being No2)
RB Clohessy
LB Barker, Herd
CB Coughlan, Mohsni, Phillips
MF Easton, Grant, Ferdiand, Sawyer, Comminges
LM/RM Hall
CF Corr, Sturrock, Paterson, Crawford, Spencer

Available for transfer Gilbert, Bouzid, Soares
Out on Loan Prosser

So I believe we need another proper RB at least one more CB and another left footed midfielder - also, if Mohsni is played as as striker from now on we need another 2 CBs.

Clohessy appears to be a very fit player, one who isn't particularly prone to niggling injuries, so Comminges as an option at RB must surely be acknolwedged given that he's played the bulk of his career in that position. Surely purchasing yet another RB, when other areas of the squad need addressing first, is just a whimsical expense we could do without?

We have one proper right back - we need another one. Comminges was brought in to play right side of midfield as PS didn't feel Soares was doing the business - and as a little snippet - Comminges is not ripping it up during training - he's very low in confidence and will need a few Reserve games to bring him on. So I do believe it's not 'whimsical' to address the need for a RB - we spent most of last season and the majority of this season trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

CB is going to be a problem if Coughlan runs out of legs, Mohsni is played up front and Phillips picks up another injury - this surely must be our first priority?

That's not the point, though. Comminges may have been brought in to play as a right sided midfielder predominately, but his experience at right-back makes him a valid replacement should Clohessy pick up an injury. Most squad players these days are brought into play back-up to a variety of roles, and our financial restrictions dictate that we can't afford to keep a squad of 22 players, with two for each position, without sacrificing quality.

But Mohsni isnt a striker, he is the proverbial 'square peg'.

If needs be, he will drop back to CB and we have plenty of options (though none of them much cop) for the other striker role with 3 other front me warming their backsides on the bench.

Only 12 players of the above are worth keeping (Morris, Evans, Clohessy, Barker, Mohsni, Philips, Grant, Sawyer, Easton, Hall, Sturrock and Corr)
2 I've not seen enough of (Ferdinand, Comminges)
The rest (Crawford, Prosser, Coughlan, GILBERT, Herd, Paterson, Spencer, Bouzid and SOARES) can "do one"

re: Coughlan... Have you not been to either of our last two home games?
