i like the bit at the bottom of the echo article,
“We’re going to a game and hope that we will be able to bring him in by tomorrow if all goes to plan,” he added.

Bring him in by tomorrow?! wants him for the sat game then. but what team would be playing a player that they are going to offload??! That's what makes me think it'll be from the Ipswich XI. We'll wait and see and fingers crossed Grant and LB sign this week.

... although the Inverurie Loco Works left back could be a bit hot!
As their season started last Saturday (Locos beat Nairn 4-1) I can't imagine it will be a particularly hard fought affair.
Loco's are the disliked team in the Highlands due to a recent injection of money making evreyone jealous and giving them a big team attitude 9yet they still haven't won anything.

I could send a scouting report from the Clach / Lossiemouth clash in September if Tilly wants ? although Clach have just flogged their good young striker so I doubt if there will be much to write home about.....

I wonder if Mulgrew will play against the Loco's

I'd love Daniel Jones, would be class, but I think BIAL might be right, Dan Harding could be a good shout although wages would probably be an issue.

Reading about him on Ipswich's site he once commanded a £850,000 fee so I'm guessing he wont be cheap so maybe not the great shout as first thought.

With absolutely no evidence, I'm going to suggest it could be Jordan Parkes from Watford, who could be playing at St Albans tonight. Tall full-back, I think played against us in the League Cup last year and also had a spell at Barnet on loan. Watford have Sadler and Harley competing for the LB slot, and are by all accounts short of cash.

Parkes

this is of course an entirely wild guess, not claiming to have any inside information.

Harding is a good call - he's on the transfer list and out of favour according to these articles:

He wasn't one of the 17 players that Magilton used against Wet Sham last night, is 6ft tall, relatively local and highly rated by Peter Taylor.

Watch this space...

Harding on loan for the season would be my shout as well. Wouldn't be too disappointed with that either.
