If you sat in the ground where I sat you wouldn't be at all surprised about a player not being a fan of Brush. They treat him with utter disrespect when he gives them orders during games.

Is a main reason why I don't like Tilson's nicey nicey I'm a friend of the players act. He needs to be more of a hard **** because IMHO the players walk all over the management when they want to.

Makes me even more think we need new management at the helm after reading this. I'd like a boss in charge of Southend that takes no s**t from his players, and boots out the players who think their better and bigger than the club.

Also, Hammell can f**k off back to Scotland after those comments in this thread.

I'm sure i read on here ages ago that Hammell was hoping a championship club would come in for him after we got relegated to league one.

I take it the guy who felt Tilson's wrath yesterday doesn't post on here then? As it hasn't been posted from what I've seen.

Basically at the end of game someone shouted from the Greens about the lacklustre showing and finished with "you buy the players Tilson". In response to this particular sentence Tilson turned round unleashing a tirade of abuse back and calling the guy various things including a t**t and a p***k. Now I didn't hear this guy use anything strong worded yet clearly it hit a nerve with our Manager because after walking and showing his anger towards the officials, he came back clearly trying to pick him out in the crowd again. I was going to say Mr Tilson could you please show that sort of aggression to the players next time they put in a half arsed showing, but I sit a fair bit closer to the dugout and I've seen Brush throw a chair before so Tilson could've followed suit! :p

Point is, I wasn't too impressed with the tongue lashing he gave this fan and it seems to follow on from his interview on the radio with regards to not being bothered what the fans think. If things, God forbid, do go tits up this season, I don't really want to know what he'll do in response to the reaction it'd get from the crowd if this is his mindset.

Agreed, why can't he show this passion and aggression at our so called players when they dont perform? Like yesterday for example.

His interviews after games are just pure schoolboy. Like you say, he doesn't care what us the paying fans think.

I've lost total patience with Tilson, just like how alot of people including myself lost patience with Freddy after the Man U game.

There must be other bosses in the Martin Allen mould out there that would jump at the chance to manage Southend. But that will be the trusted choice of Ron Martin and Geoffrey King.

I think Tilson has well and trully lost the dressing room, just like what happened to Jol at Spurs. Tottenham didn't mess around getting him out did they.

This does go somewhat hand in hand with my earlier post on another thread regarding people's satisafaction with mid-table mediocrity.
Usually, when a manager spots persistent mistakes leading to schoolboy errors, they are ironed out on the training field and parity is once again restored.

You can hang on to Tilly's frankly magnificent past achievements with our football club, but the fact remains that all is not well at the Hall at present, and our season is in danger of slowly dying due to tactical naivety and an inability to learn from our mistakes.

As for a new manager....I would personally give Tilly longer, but please do not think he is indispensable. If Ron isn't happy come the season's end I'm sure changes will be made.

All this talk of Tilly being soft makes me laugh.
He's no pushover trust me,certainly nobody's fool and anybody that tries their luck will come unstuck.

Tilly comes from a tough upbringing and he can certainly handle himself,of course especially on a football pitch.

But he has a great persona as most of us know and if there is any people on here who hasn't spoke to him then i implore you to do so.My missus has always fancied him (going back even to schooldays) and what that has got to do with things i've no idea but i was told to mention it:p

Seems to me that if players step out of line in this club then it's easy to be shown the door and there's no coming back,which goes against the grain of thinking eh TTK ?

I'm always reluctant to comment on what is going on in the dressing room anyway. I, like most if not everybody on here, don't really know what goes on behind the scenes so taking a view on such matters is essentially pointless.

And we are still 7th, not to mention through to the 3rd round of the FA Cup. We've had a couple of poor results and of course that's really disappointing, but we've got the January transfer window to come and we've still got a great chance of being in the promotion mix.

my only frustration with tilly is subs, as it is with pretty much everyone. can't see him ever changing this but something seriously has too be done. how can he expect a sub to come on with literally a few minutes to go. before they know it the games over. how can they make an impact or even get involved. in my opinion subs should get 15-20 mins to get into the game. no dis-respect to moose as he is a great player but it is very worrying when your 1 nil down with 5 mins to go and you bring him on.

All he does by shouting at a specific fan face to face is that he has no balls.

What he should do to prove he has nuts is to create a psudo...name thingy on a message board and post after a couple of pints.

Is it not worse for the morale in the squad for the starting XI to know that they've only got an hour to get it right or they'll be hauled off for someone who at 2.59pm wasn't consider good enough to get into the team? Several of the players in our promotion seasons spoke about the way that Tilson gave the players on the pitch the confidence to express themselves by allowing them the freedom to make mistakes. They can't do that if they're constantly having to look over their shoulders towards the subs bench.

Besides, the best players at 2.59 are still the best players at 4.30 so why would you choose to weaken your side unnecessarily?

He came here as a full international fresh from playing at Ibrox and Parkhead to be playing at Stadium of Light, Walkers Stadium, St Andrews etc. One season and he is looking forward to trips to Gillingham & Doncaster over Xmas. I think I would feel down hearted.

At least he has not openly made his wishes to leave known (bar a drunked conversation) unlike other favourites such as JCR and Freddy. As long as he puts in 100% (which he has been in my book) then I would pick him 100% over Che Wilson who is a poor footballer.

Tilly has guided us to 7th in the table at Xmas and any of you would be liars to say your not happy with that especially when you consider the clubs that are in the league. So we lost to Oldham - Hardly crime of the ****ing century is it. Another day we could have had 4.

I hope all these ****ers calling for Tilly to go recall this next time we have a Little/Wignall/Martin in charge.
