I like the Navy Blue because it is unique to most other "Blue" teams in the pyramid, but I can understand people wanting shot of it because it's very much been a constant of the Rat era.

Exactly. I don’t necessarily want royal blue, just don’t want this dark (almost black) Rat era blue.
And would also like ‘Shrimpers’ being used a bit more rather than ‘the blues’……which is really quite boring.
 
When is a new kit likely to be revealed? Or is that another thing waiting for the takeover to be officially announced... was gutted not to get my kid a kit last year, but they never seemed to restock them in his size.

I thought the incorporation of yellow in the collar of last season's home shirt was notable, and very tasteful. Like others, I like navy and wouldn't want us to change to a generic royal blue, but perhaps a switch from navy and white to navy and yellow (and some white as necessary) would be a suitable compromise, and give us enough sense of changed identity?
