Exactly. I don’t necessarily want royal blue, just don’t want this dark (almost black) Rat era blue.
And would also like ‘Shrimpers’ being used a bit more rather than ‘the blues’……which is really quite boring.

I'm late to this thread but there's one thing to be done - get a proper budget in place so we're not constantly spending beyond our means and dealing with the inevitable consequences that brings.

I thought the incorporation of yellow in the collar of last season's home shirt was notable, and very tasteful. Like others, I like navy and wouldn't want us to change to a generic royal blue, but perhaps a switch from navy and white to navy and yellow (and some white as necessary) would be a suitable compromise, and give us enough sense of changed identity?
