My understanding was that it was Mrs. Beckett who had absolutely no desire to move south - even though Luke himself was as keen as mustard to sign for us.

Beckett actually gave the reason to the club that he didn't realise quite just how far South we are.

No lie.

...and obviously failed Geography at school.

It would seem that Simon Francis, who has been at Tranmere this season but who is owned by Sheffield United, has been put on the transfer list. I thought he was the mutt's nuts when we went up to Prenton Park - the best right back I've seen in bloomin' ages.

Matt, Tilly will be bringing in as many "southern based players" as possible. There was a rumour about us being interested in Ostomber from Crewe, but that definetly isn't the case.

I can see there being a few people shocked at who we're after, if they found out. But the idea is that people dont find out. (Oh no, im sounding like Napster)
