Is ours also slightly more complex as a potential new ground was also involved. looking at Blackpool, Scunny, Oldham, Yeovil none of them had plans for a new stadium. Of course dealing with Ron was never going to be straight forward but the potential new ground scenario must have added more complexity to the deal
Indeed, I think I recall Matt Slater using the word 'unique' at one time when assessing our situation

I suspect DD has uncovered a couple of things, not showstoppers, but that the consortium would like to see reflected in the deal. Hence, the Ron aside, again, about how HoT are set in stone. You can see it from both sides. Ron can't really drop the price- its £1. So maybe they want him to pay something. I don't know. I don't sense anything major and from the behaviours of all concerned a week or two should still hopefully see us home? Of course I'm not ITK, and happy to be put right.

Indeed, they make a snail look fast. I'm guessing there's a pile of them still working from home doing the minimum they can get away with.
The Land Registry cut around 2000 workers (about a third of their work force) in a string of redundancies around 10-15 years ago.

Their remaining employees have been striking over pay and redundancy terms this last year and a bit.

I’m sure the deterioration in service times is completely unrelated to these two facts but back to Southend United.

We are still on the magic roundabout We keep hearing the takeover is close But how many times have we heard that All I want now is the end of it all So we can turn the page In Justin Ress we trust

I am remaining patient and it will take as long as it takes.
But there have been phrases of " all ducks in a row" and "all prepared".
It will be SUCH a relief when the ink is dry and the current majority owner clears his desk and is escorted from the building.
So long as the current majority shareholder doesn’t sign the contract in disappearing ink, wouldn’t put anything past the slimy ratbag.

every good thing is worth waiting for .The problem is king rat sits in his tower .Someone give him a push .And remind himm no contract agrrement the council can play hard ball on his housing empire . So just do what all the fans want and go Over 7500 fans was art the hall .And im dam sure everyone of them enjoyed the game .But deep down they want you to finaly go Ron .

I wonder who is negotiating with Ron as Justin wouldn't be able to due to time differences - they have to have an award for most patient person in the world!

as justin has said its the world of the internet and deals are struck over it .Now we know Ron is very old but even him can do work over the internet .if not im sure his solisitors can .Also im sure he can trust his own solisitors to do the deed for him .

Has Ron heard of the Internet or the phone Justin Ress said he does not need to be in the country to seel the deal .And like Rat man they both have Lawers to do the talking for them

Justin Rees is currently in Australia, which makes the time difference a bit of an issue. Apparently he's working at night to be available during our day time, but that's far from ideal.
