I can understand Moshni ambition to play at a higher level after all its not every players dream to play for SUFC but after the club stuck by him after his tantrums this should of been handled a lot better. He is still a Southend employee so has no right to just decide he's not coming back. For once i hope we are withholding a players wages.

As others have said im sure his agent has sadly played a massive part in this. Cannot see him making it at Prem level but i think he'd hold his own in the Championship. Would be a risk for whatever club he ends up at though.

Moshni - an entertainer yes, a legend no.

Great business by the club if we can get a decent fee with add ons for him.

Teamwork is essential to get promoted and I believe from what I have seen and to a lesser extent what I heard, that this will improve without Moshni around.

Great work from Luggy to develop Moshni and good luck to whoever ends up signing him in trying to keep him under control and motivated.

I also meant to say that he is a great player ...... on his day

Moshni a Legend is laughable statement.and there's no way he's Premier league Standard.
I think since Freddys return,he has been unhappy as he is no longer the Big Fish/Fans favorite in the team.U could see he wasn't happy last few games of the season,co-incidence ?!?
Personally fed up with the constant saga surrounding him,and think we'll be better off without him.Good luck Bilel hope u rip west ham apart and go straight bk to the championship.Although it wouldn't suprize me if he was still here at start of season lol

What else is there to say? I give him 6 months at another club before he's sacked.....Premiership :hilarious:

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

So the truth comes out, trying to get a move and not bothering to train with the team he's contracted to. Quite the way to thank the fans who basically kept him at the club after his numerous ****-ups.

Hero to Zero. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

The way he has gone about it is no different to that ginger c*** bailey. A total lack of class and respect for the fans. Now let's get the most amount of cash possible and focus on our season.

Premiership!! Hahahaha, what a deluded fool Mohsni apparently is.

I loved him, but he can do one now. If he is so intent on leaving the club who gave him a chance as a pro then **** off quite frankly.

Ha ha ..am rolling up!!
Bilel Moshni? Premier League???????? Ha ha ha. No chance.

He has treated Southend United like ****. Decent player at Div 1 or Div 2 level. Appalling temperament (though he was not always treated fairly in my opinion) and nowhere near focused enough.

Am still laughing. Premier League??? Your 'Aving a laugh!!

No-one is arguing that players shouldn't try and best themselves and make the most out of short careers. But it's the manner in which he's done it. Refusing to report for work for a manager that has stuck by him through thick and thin.

Didn't he also state that he had unfinished business with us , as ''he came to get promotion'' and he would stay until the job was done??

I enjoyed him whilst he was here , but nobody is bigger than my club, so I wish him well , and I hope he doesn't end up on the ''PFA Transfer list '' very soon.

I'd love to know how he wasn't treated fairly. Any other club would have terminated his contract long ago but Luggy stood by him.

I've seen the word legend bandied about in association with Mohsni!! Do me a favour, Collymore in 9 months at the club is a legend, Powell, Tilson, Cadette and for older viewers the likes of Billy Best. Mohsni no chance.

There's no doubt he has great ability and if he thinks he can play higher up the food chain then fair enough, but this time SUFC should get the best financial deal they can for selling one of their few assets.

I'm absolutely amazed by this, the news was broken first on the OS!? :stunned:All other issues aside, I actually don't think this announcement has been handled too well by the club. I don't think the club should have put a negative spin on this story, whatever has come out of the mouth of Mohsni's agent. Mohsni is entitled to want to play at a higher level, although I think he is deluded if he thinks he is good enough yet for a premiership team. I'd be surprised if this trial ended in a signing and then where are we? Being told that he thinks he is too good for us will make it very hard for him to come back for both the players and fans so what will happen - he just refuses to play? Unsettles the dressing room again? Gets stick from fans who feel betrayed? It's a shame it's ended this way, and I do wish him all the best, but I can't help but think that rather than be the start of a stellar new chapter in his career, this is the effectively the end. One thing's for certain - for whatever reasons he won't be forgotten in a hurry.

Agree with this. You could see him sulking around the pitch whenever Freddy got one of his ovations, knew he was no longer "the blue eyed boy" with the fans and behaved like a kid about it. Got in Freddy's way countless times in those last 8 or 9 games too. Legend? Never in a billion years. Notorious, maybe.

Leave with our blessing, don't come crying back to Sturrock when it doesn't work out. You'll never have the adoration of the crowd that you had here and you'll never have that back now anyway. So long, farewell, adieu.

He will always be a legend at Southend, but if he doesn't want to be here any more then it's time to move on and get a decent fee in return.

If we get anything for him it represents a triumph for Luggy both in discovering him in the first place and then managing to get him through last season without killing anyone!

I wonder which team it is?

I think you have summed up how every Southend fan should feel. Great find by Luggy, fee free. Given us lots of entertainment, a quality above anything we have here. Any fee we get will be a bonus.

Good luck to Mohsni wherever he goes, I really hope he makes it big and plays for his national team too

Now to change my sig to someone I really want to leave. Grant, now Mohsni, who to have next?

Big ****ing deal! let him go! Bet you in 2 years no one will know he is and we will be back in the championship, I've had enough him, southend legend  if you think that your clearly on what ever bilel is on. he throws he's toys out the box and we all sing he's name????? it takes credit away from lagit pros and real legends like maker. barrat. Clarke. Tilson. jupp. bently...... I could go on. your a ****ing joke bilel, you don't deserve to wear our logo
