Flog him, get some decent cash for him and move on.

Yes he was entertaining but will always be a liability with a tendency to lose the plot in an instance.

End of the day if the guy feels like he can get a contract in one of the top two tiers then you can see why he wouldn't want to play in the fourth. He got a chance here but realistically I doubt he'd ever heard of the Club or even the town 25 months ago.

I can see him being back here by the end of the season but I genuinely hope that I'm wrong and it works out for him.

Goodbye and good luck. Been largely fantastic but he has been a liability at times too. I'm not sure he is a nailed on starter and with a year left on his contract it's well worth cashing in. No point keeping a player that does not want to be here and considering he was a total freebie really think this deal works well for us all.

Full respect to Luggy for finding him and making him a saleable asset.

Goes to show what I have thought and said all along, Mohsni cares about himself and plays for himself FULLSTOP.

I don't begrudge anyone wanting to progress and should the club receive a decent fee then everyone is happy.

BUT, the whole reluctance to return to Roots Hall doesn't come as a surprise to me. That boy forgets the numerous chances he has been granted (When all other players would have been released) and the fact that he was picked up and given a chance from park football.

If we get a Nice fee for his desired (minimum) of Championship maybe Prem football....then yes please. Even more so if it means we don't have to sell the likes of the more loyal and influential Ryan Hall.

I personally will be glad to see the back of a disruptive influence. Yes he had passion (for himself) and gave us a few good memories, but he also cost us time and time again. I bet the players will also be glad to get shot of his petulance and special treatment. No one player, fan, chairman are ever bigger than the club UTB

We will be more of a team without him and have more balance, also it means Luggy does not have to worry about him sulking and playing him out of position just to fit him in the side. Let's not forget, he is a centre half who is never played there as he is a liability!!!!

Hope now, the blinkered Mohsni worshippers will wake up and smell the coffee. To call the likes of Mohsni a 'legend' is laughable.

What an absolute ****-take. The fans & club stood by him throughout the several times he nearly ****ed it all up the wall last season, and this is how he repays us?

I know he hasn't been in the professional game long, but this is a total joke. Good riddance. He'll **** it all up the wall with a higher level team and be back in the lower leagues of France before you can say Croissant.

The only loyalty in football comes on the terraces. You cant blame him for wanting to move on and further his career. If any of us got the same offer we would jump at the chance. SUFC is a springboard for players nothing else. None of them dreamed as kids of playing for us - it's just a job and a means to an end.

I talk too footballers or I am around football people most days and I can tell you that at every level baring the elite the players are always trying to engineer moves up. Were no different in our own lives.

Had Bilel been a flop we would have packed him back to France at the first chance like we did Zaboob. Give him a break.

Time to cash in, although this statement has done no good in helping us getting as much money as we can for him. Clubs will now see he wants out of the club and only has a year on the contract, reducing the amount clubs will be willing to pay.
Will obviously miss his unpredictability on the pitch but we need a much more disciplined side this year if we want to progress. Good luck to the club that eventually nabs him. My guess, Crawley.

I was a huge fan of Mohsni but really, after this?

Don't let the door hit you on the way out you ungrateful git. Don't come back.

Have always been anti-Moshni after the problems last season, so good news for me especially if we get a good fee for him. Deluded is an understatement if he thinks he can make it in the prem, talent can only take you so far, his attitude stinks big time. When Freddy left us for Wolves, everybody knew he was going but he still returned for pre-season with us until his transfer was sorted. To refuse to report to work when required to is completely unprofessional, I hope we withhold his wages (won't be hard for Ron) until his transfer is complete and we can all say aurevoir

I'm a big a Mohsni fan as any of us but as has already been said, no one player is bigger than the club.

Sell him, move on and start to build a team unit rather than having the focus upon one player. Thank you for some nice memories Bilel. Legend, no. Fantastic entertainment, yes.

Agreed there is a way to do things and a way not too. End of the day the result is the same. Lee Barnard supposedly made it clear he wanted out behind closed doors but to the fans he portrayed himself as loyal to the end. Is there really any difference both wanted out as they felt they could do better.

Better he does it now in pre season that on the verge of the season like Nicky Bailey.

Can't begrudge any player for wanting to better themselves and get to the highest league possible. However he has dealt with this with a complete lack of grace and respect we as fans and the club as a whole deserve after some of his actions over the last 2 years. When the going was good Mohsni was fantastic, however no team in the Premier League will stand for some of the things we have put up with and stood by him with that he has done in the last couple of years.

I would imagine that Mohsni is a player who somewhat divides the dressing room, and certain professionals that we have in the team will no doubt be glad to see the back of someone who constantly gets second and third and fourth chances.

When alls said and done, on the pitch when he has been playing well he is a fantastic player, he has won several games for us with crucial goals and has played pretty well wherever he has been put. However the lack of respect to everyone here is quite annoying, when considered everything he has put us through. Wish him all the best in future and hope for his sake he screws his head on a bit, or he will find himself out before he knows it.

No-one is arguing that players shouldn't try and best themselves and make the most out of short careers. But it's the manner in which he's done it. Refusing to report for work for a manager that has stuck by him through thick and thin.

Dave the shrimper, for me Lee Barnard produced the goods until he was sold, he was not a disruptive influence (From my sources within the changing room) as was not wrapped up in cotton wool time and time again unlike Mohsni.

Mohsni goes AWOL time and time again...players were angry at his special treatment and in the big games, Mohsni never ever produced anything other than disapointment. (Sent off v Oldham in replay, missed chances in first match, lost his man on Crewe goal in first leg, red cards, petulance) etc etc

Yes the man scored a few goals, but so did Leon Constantine!!!! Doesn't make Constantine a 'legend' does it.

Fans are blinkered by his self portrayed passion. Because he kicks an advertising board, claps the fans, holds a baby for a picture or thumps the floor doesn't mean he is a better player.

He is disruptive and should have reported back for pre season on the first day like every other player

A fair take on the matter. I agree with bilel that he is too good for league 2 and he and i can blame the club for blowing promotion last season. Had we gone up there must be a fair chance he would have seen out another season. He has come into the professional game late and would be a mug to waste any more time than necessary in the basement. Players deserve the right to ply their trade as high as they can go. Many of our squad are as high as they can go. Grant should have left earlier, he was too good. Even the legend Chris Powell wasted nine seasons playing for us when he could have done so much better so much earlier and theres every chance he lost out on more England caps because of it. I would not want any player to do that. Good luck Bilel and tata.

He has handled it poorly but only because it's been made public. Barnard did the same thing if Ron is to be believed but we didn't all hate him when he left as we didn't find out until later and it came from Ron.

We don't know if he's outright refused to come back. Reading between the lines it looks like he's been offered a trial and has forced the Club's hand into getting it but as DtS said is it much different to what Barney did? I don't think so.

What Nicky Bailey did was out of order, IMO, and if no club wants to take Mohsni on and he refuses to come back here for the new season then that will definitely sour my opinion of him but right now I can see why he might want out.

Got to feel for Luggy. He's stood by the guy threw thick (thicker than thick) and thin..and this is how he's rewarded. I know there is very little loyalty in the game these days from players through to management, but this is a sad way to end the relationship. Nobody holds a grudge about good players wanting to play at a higher level (i'm sure most of us were all routing for Freddy to make his mark in the Championship) but there's ways of doing things, and this isn't it.

In my opinion, he is one of the reasons we DIDN'T go up last season.

Why do people label him as being so special?? He scored a few goals in league matches, in the big games, what did he produce?

Put it this way, what is his position?? Centre Back, yet he is too much of a liability to play there. Enough Said
