He can be a Premier League player. A huge natural talent. But that's only if he can calm the **** down, which he wont.

No loyalty, nothing, **** him.

So yeah, see yah.

Big ****ing deal! let him go! Bet you in 2 years no one will know he is and we will be back in the championship, I've had enough him, southend legend  if you think that your clearly on what ever bilel is on. he throws he's toys out the box and we all sing he's name????? it takes credit away from lagit pros and real legends like maker. barrat. Clarke. Tilson. jupp. bently...... I could go on. your a ****ing joke bilel, you don't deserve to wear our logo

Who?

I think the word legend is used to readily these days. Should be saved for true SUFC greats like Stan Collymore, Chris Powell, Kevin Maher and Mario Walsh (lol). Mohsni a legend, no. Entertaining and unpredictable, yes.

Liked him, bid random, but different and always caused other teams problems. But as others have said, good timing to invoke contract extension - cash in and re-invest. Thanks Bil and good luck.

I'm absolutely amazed by this, the news was broken first on the OS!? :stunned:All other issues aside, I actually don't think this announcement has been handled too well by the club. I don't think the club should have put a negative spin on this story, whatever has come out of the mouth of Mohsni's agent. Mohsni is entitled to want to play at a higher level, although I think he is deluded if he thinks he is good enough yet for a premiership team. I'd be surprised if this trial ended in a signing and then where are we? Being told that he thinks he is too good for us will make it very hard for him to come back for both the players and fans so what will happen - he just refuses to play? Unsettles the dressing room again? Gets stick from fans who feel betrayed? It's a shame it's ended this way, and I do wish him all the best, but I can't help but think that rather than be the start of a stellar new chapter in his career, this is the effectively the end. One thing's for certain - for whatever reasons he won't be forgotten in a hurry.

Think its nice the OS broke it. CP was pee'd off on Twitter cos he reckons the club waited till past the Echo deadline for the next days stories then broke it, despite giving him no news on the situation all day when he was asking.

Good on the club I say and it made a refreshing change to read something 'official' first.

Yeah! I think it's trebles all round. The club make some cash, the agent makes some cash, West Ham get a rough diamond. I thought he was entertaining in a very poor side. But the signings so far for this season are encouraging.

Loyalty in football died a long time ago. I'm not bitter, I wish him every success.

We all rooted for Freddy and yet for the last half of the season he was with us the majority of blues fans, including those on this forum, slagged him off for not putting his best foot forward after the wonder goal against Man U. People were calling him Billy Big Boots but those same people are happy to have him back, as I am too.

Which is more a reflection of the supporters than Freddy.

Fans knew he was going to leave, saw a team floundering on the pitch and had a nice scapegoat to complain about.

Eastwood didnt change at all from what I saw, he was always "lazy" before the Man Utd goal, its only in the last 6 months people started saying it was because he wanted out. He still scored goals and he still looked gutted after every defeat.

Eastwood gave us 3 years and could have asked to leave sooner than he did but gave us that last season.

I dont blame any player for leaving to better themselves, as long as they repay the faith we put in them first. Barnard could have given us 6 months and we may have stayed up, but he wanted an immediate move and we lost our best player and got next to nothing for him, in fact by getting Paterson in return we essentially lost money.

Mohsni is a bit different though, he isnt a key player in the side, as has been said on here plenty, no one knows where he should play and I cant see him being in the first team.

He clearly has some talent but I cant blame him for wanting to move elsewhere if he thinks he is going to be sitting on the bench because he is never going to start as a centre half.

Hopefully someone will take him on, but doesnt sound like there are many takers and dont see a Premiership side taking him.

Read a few comments on this thread about reinvesting the money, dont think we are going to see money spent, we will simply sign the same players on free transfers we would anyway and the money will go to pay for them. Cue two years of where did the Mohsni money go ?

Thanks Bilel and good luck wherever you end up .but have to agree that you are not a club " legend " maybe in the eyes of fans who have only been watching us in the last 10 years or so but certainly not with us who have been watching 30 years plus there is a long list way ahead of you when the term legend is used . Two quick points do not expect a big fee for him whoever the club is Bilel is far from the finished article and the buying club will be taking a punt .. but whatever the fee is it is all profit well done Luggy in finding him and now moving him on

My only concern is that if it doesnt work out at West Sham or wherever, what happens then? We dont want him back that clear by the comments on here, and im pretty sure most of the squad that have experienced the Moshni over the past two season wouldnt be sorry to see him leave either. I would have got rid a long time ago and the fact that he played in about 4 different positions speaks volumes about the guy. Yes he is a talent when he wants to be, but as an indiviudal he only wants the smooth and when things get rough against him its toys out the pram. He cant be trusted at the back so luggy tried to utilise him in other areas and in the end playing him left midfield i think cost us in the play offs, he certainly didnt turn up for either game when we really needed him. Legend? never, fans favourite? maybe, but not in my house or many others. If we get any offer from anywhere let him go, get the money and free up the wage, we do not need or want him back at the club sulking and disrupting the team spirit which again looks good and positive. In luggy we trust, UTB

Perhaps Bilel doesn't know that Gilberts gone ?

I think its sad that he is going about it this way and also that his Agent hasn't told him that its not the done thing (although given the increasing number of players doing this (Tevez etc) perhaps this is the way of the world and just us British fans expect a mediocum of loyalty.

Perhaps, the last time, when he felt all were against him, he was given certain assurances that things would change , which is why he came back, there was certainly something which not only made him come back but persuaded him to sign the extension. It could well be that these have not materialised, and he feels duped into signing for another year.

Alternatively PS said come back, re-sign, then we will let you look elsewhere, we get a fee, you are not touting yourself around as a free agent who is clubless because you stormed out in a strop, which would be a considerably less attractive impression , particularly if you are looking at a bigger club.

They club not making a fuss about him missing training as well as trying to keep it all out of the papers makes me feel that they are happy for him to be going elsewhere and want to play down the rift incase it scuppers any move / reduces any fee.
I don't think this situation is unexpected at the club this has an air of planning about it.

Guessing that's Keven Maker and possibly Admin Barrat?

Just an idea but does the Premier League club have to be in England ? Could it be in Scotland given Luggy and his connections there .. and Bilel has been away at this "wedding" .. or back in europe ....

I think him throwing the toys out of the pram was frustration at playing in a poor side.

Hardly a poor side, one that finished 4th, should have got promoted and any other season in the last 9 would have with 83 points. He was part of that 'poor side' and as much as he contributed with important goals, also didnt turn up, literally in many other games including the play offs. he is a good player as many of us have stated, but he is yet to prove to anyone that he is this fantastic world beater that some on here think he is and he also thinks. He should be grateful for the opportunity we have given him and i d0 wish him all the best if he does go, but i think he has treated the club and fans with a total lack of respect over the past 6 months.

This Legend or no Legend thing is interesting....

To me he will be a legend not because he achieved particularly much compared to others at the club, but because he is memorable and I think will still be remembered in 10, 20, 30 years time because of the way he was discovered from nowhere , his antics on and off the pitch, his flashes of brilliance, his petulance, going AWOL, his relationship and rapport with the fans and basically for being a bit of a lunatic.

To me a legend is someone who leaves their mark on a place and whose story is worth telling and re-telling (which I think is probably the literal definition). The Bilel Mohsni story fits the bill on this score.

It is a shame that it has ended like this, but that probably befits the man and his story (can't wait for the film to come out!).

He has certainly brightened up the last couple of seasons - you have to admit that!

I think this is a cunning plan by Sturrock to let him go to Wet Sham and cause havoc in the dressing room, so much so they get relegated this season.:winking:

Seriously though we know there's no loyalty in football and if he does go somewhere at least we get some sort of fee out of this. It seems clear that he doesn't want to play for us, and by asking for a transfer am I right in thinking that he won't be entilted to a signing on fee? Not 100% sure.

Anyway as he's so unpredictable god knows what the future (all be it somewhere else) holds for him. No doubting he has talent could end up being a superstar or, end up just playing the reserves for what ever team for the rest of his career.Think there will be one or two further twists in this story. Nothings straightforward with the Mosh.
